  Hotel super agradable, con servicios de calidad, piscina climatizada, gimnasio bastante completo, un restaurante de una calidad mas que aceptable, con la pequeña pega de que esta en una rotonda de acceso a la autopista a 8Km del pueblo

  Buen hotel como punto intermedio

  Hotel super agradable, con servicios de calidad, piscina climatizada, gimnasio bastante completo, un restaurante de una calidad mas que aceptable, con la pequeña pega de que está algo alejado del pueblo, pero tiene muy cerca un área de servicios con un Costa Café con unos precios bastante asequibles si se quiere desayunar allí.

  Excelente, si no fuera por la localizacion

  Excelente, si no fuera por la localización, ya que se encuentra en el centro de una rotonda de acceso a la autopista a unos 8 Km de la ciudad de Newbury. Habitaciones dignas de cualquier 4 estrellas y una cocina que te hace olvidar que te encuentras en Inglaterra. Tiene un gimnasio bastante completo y la piscina es suficientemente grande como para hacer unos largos.

  Parking charges

  Im loyal to Hilton. Gold level (the second highest of their four tiers) for several years. I have the misfortune of staying fairly regularly in the Reading / Newbury area for work and often stay at the Doubletree M4 J10, the now Doubletree (was Hilton) St Anne, or the Hilton Reading every month, so I know what to expect, rarely moan and generally just take the hotels for what they are. I very strongly object to being charged £5 per night for car parking at this hotel. Particularly as someone so loyal to Hilton and particularly at a hotel with a huge, empty car park, located by the side of a major motorway, where people have absolutely no alternative but to arrive by car. (To contrast, I recently stayed at the Doubletree at Liverpool airport, where the astronomical airport car parking fees were waived for Gold and Diamond members). As a result of this alienating nickle and diming I will cancel my future reservations and will rebook at one of the properties mentioned above (parking is free for all customers, regardless of Hilton membership at all of these other properties). As an aside, if I understand correctly, the famous doubletree chocolate cookies are the single brand consistent element of a stay at any Doubletree hotel worldwide. Bizarrely, under the currently fashionable but hugely misused excuse for cost-cutting labelled as reducing touch points for Covid reasons - this hotel doesnt offer their guests the Doubletree cookie. They are happy to share the reception ballpoint pen with me, hand me a room key etc, but not to engage me with the sole thing customers worldwide recognise consistently across the Doubletree brand. But its to keep me safe from Covid, not to save cash! This dilution of the only doubletree brand recognition item makes the hotel appear like any other dull motorway motel. Im also happy to confirm that the doubletree at M4 J10 still serves the warm cookie (yet remains Covid safe!).

  Working away has never been such a pleasure...

  I stayed with a large group that were working in Newbury for 4 days in December 2020. Prior to arrival Francis Hindle the General Manager reached out to ascertain why we were staying and worked with me to ensure that all our needs were met ahead of our arrival. On arrival we were not disappointed - Covid wise all measures were in place, from entry to departure. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were amazing, everyone commented on how comfy they were. Although all the communal areas were closed there was still a warm fuzzy Christmas feeling about the place as the team were always happy and only too willing to help in anyway they could. We ate breakfast in the restaurant each morning and dinner in the evening. The food was good and turned around quickly each day. A special shout out to Patrick and Hannah who provided us with 1st class service throughout our stay. There was lots of on site parking available.
