  Convenient location

  Stayed here for a night, got onto the hilton honor floor. The room was clean and very spacious with 2 double beds and a sofa bed. The location is prime, just opposite of Washington Square mall. The bathroom layout is not the best. There is only a shower box and a toilet, no shelves or small cupboard. The sink is outside the bathroom. It has a very good hair dryer and Dreamy pillows. Water bottles are not free, i was charged 4 dollar for 2 bottles. Parking is plentiful just outside of the hotel. No shower gel is available, just bar soap.

  Wonderful place!

  Amazing experience here! Staff is SO sweet and helpful, and the location of the hotel is super convenient to everything, especially restaurants and retail stores. I used the fitness center every day while I was there and was impressed. They have medicine balls, exercise balls, mats, actually decent cardio equipment, and a nice machine for filling up water bottles with workout towels. Usually hotel gyms are full of really outdated crappy equipment, but even though it wasn't extravagant it was a lot better than the usual ones I see! Hotel is also super clean :)

  Warm, cozy, friendly - inspite of covid19

  First time here at the Tigard DoubleTree and it didn't disappoint. Stayed this past weekend (room 201) and was treated like a Diamond VIP (which I am). The room was awesome. Extra large space to spread out and make (zoom) calls from the "living" area. The gym was modest but fully functional. The warm cookies (of course) are the best. But it really is all about the service/staff. They are so friendly and accomodating. I don't remember the name of the women on Saturday evening working the front desk but she was the best. Very accomodating and when I asked for foam pillows she immediately went and got them for me herself and delivered right to my room. Really really impressed! Even the breakfast bags were a nice touch (much better than the Residence Inn). We have already booked a return stay the week of Thanksgiving and look forward to another visit.

  Great location but...

  Hotel location is ideal for access to re a tarrant and shopping at Washington Square mall but it is older design with noise from road traffic and the heater was the old system that draws air individually from below the window for the room and it made so much noise we avoided using it on a cold night. Found out too late to change rooms without major hassle.

  Understaffed? During a Pandemic?

  Very disappointed in this hotel. First, it looks like a Motel 6 with Doubletree just using its own logo to disguise that its a motel. Second, we were told there was no shuttle to the airport during the pandemic because they were understaffed. If they dont have the staff to provide the amenities they advertise, they shouldnt advertise them. Also, as a Diamond member, Im entitled to a free breakfast. This hotel provided no hot vegetarian choices at all. And no orange juice, because they were expecting their shipment soon. The two computers in the lobby were both out of service because their Windows licenses had expired. You cant make this stuff up. Truly not worthy of the Hilton name.
