  Excellent

  I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights over the weekend. I was very satisfied. The hotels location is great. You can walk everywhere. I stayed on the third floor with a room with a balcony and I shared only one wall with another room, I am allergic to AC and I dont like rooms where you cannot even open windows. I could have AC off at night and have the balcony door open. It was very nice. The hotel staff was friendly but perhaps not so knowledgeable. The breakfast in the bag was mediocre. But it looks like this is what is being offered in many hotels due to the current situation.

  No masks enforced

  Dont stay if you are looking for Covid safe policies. There is not a strict policy about masks. People wear them under nose, no masks and no one says anything to ensure safety indoors. If you are thinking of safety and Covid, dont stay here. I spoke with the front desk and they just said we have a sign posted but dont enforce it.

  Great Place

  We stayed here for two days on our road trip. Great staff and Covid precautions, great rooms, super comfortable and a good price. Definitely would stay here again and the location is perfect In Bend. Exactly what we needed and a great price.

  Lot of money for what you get

  Desk clerk knew nothing or didnt want to be of assistance. No breakfast service of any kind even though all my travels past few months with Hilton properties found breakfast. Hotel is close to downtown and walkable. Room was clean and quiet.

  Great Location

  Having never been to Bend before, we chose this hotel based on the location. There were a couple other places we think we'd probably had picked but given the location to downtown and walkability, we landed here. We had a room on the 2nd floor. Pretty thin walls, especially next to the adjoining door. Could hear our neighbors conversation clearly word for word like they were in the room with us, only way to drown it out was to really push up the TV volume. The room just is laid out a bit strange to me - there was a big open closet area upon walking in, and then the sink area of the bathroom. The bathroom was big and felt empty though so i'm not sure why they would put the sink area outside as it ended up basically being right at the foot of one of the beds if you have 2 queens - which isn't ideal if someone is trying to get ready and someone is sleeping in or trying to watch TV. As mentioned, location was great. You walk down a set of stairs next to the side door and you're in the middle of downtown. Also not a far walk from other areas though. Looked far on a map, but definitely not a stretch by any means to walk to the old mill district or through the riverside park and across the river. Was worried about parking because I saw here that people complained it was $10/day and they weren't told until they got there.. but no parking charges and the front desk said we were free to park wherever in the lot, so i'm assuming this may've recently changed. Breakfast isn't included here and to add to that, they actually charge you for their to-go baggies that they're offering instead due to covid. It was $5 for a bottled water, fruit, and i think a granola bar. We passed on this, but still ended up being charged one of the mornings and had to call the hotel after to get this taken off. They gladly removed the charge without argument, but just a reminder to make sure to check your receipt as it seems someone can easily throw your room # out or someone may mishear and take down the wrong number.
