  What a room and what a view!

  Everything was great here from check in to check out. If you're staying it's really worth shelling out that little extra from the premium room with lake view as it's just beautiful and could perhaps be the biggest, swankiest room you have ever stayed in! Make sure you set your alarm clock for sunrise and watch the lake and hills emerge from the comfort of your huge and comfortable bed! We stayed on the non-smoking floor - and contrary to an earlier review we read on here it really was a non-smoking room and no smell whatsoever of cigarettes. Buffet restaurant is great. We tried just about everything and staff ensured we didn't miss out on any of the best treats (including a hotpot, hairy crabs and delectable ginger oysters). Taking breakfast here is also worth it. Top thing about the Hilton Anshun has to be the staff who went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful staff. Many thanks to - Frank, Aurous, Peggy, Jesse, Nancy and Sophie, who made our stay truly memorable. One small issue and that was that the club room which we had read so much about and so had paid extra to access, is actually closed when occupancy is low. So, you get all of the perks of the club room (including all day tea and coffee and evening drinks) but in the downstairs bar. This was a little disappointing, but Peggy on the front desk made sure that, once I complained about this, they made up for this.

  Fantastic place

  My second review of this hotel on Trip Advisor in two years and all three times I have stayed there have been great. Staff are very friendly without being intrusive, the rooms and facilities are great and the location next to the lake cannot be beaten.

  Amazing hotel and amazing staff

  I visited this hotel last summer and it is absolutely amazing. The hotel staffs are all very attentive to details and the services are flawless. As someone who stayed in Hilton around the world for more than sixty nights a year, I would definitely recommend this hotel as it is the best hotel I ever stayed in last year. One staff that makes my experience is Frank, the restaurant manager. He is especially welcoming and his dedication to the hotel is amazing. He is the most passionate staff in Hilton I ever meet. Me and my parents enjoyed every minute of this newly furnished hotel.

  Great place to stay with great surrounding attractions

  Stayed here as China was getting back to normal after the COVID-19 pandemic. Staff were really helpful in helping us organise day trips and ensuring sites were open etc. Super food and service. Good amenities including swimming pool, sauna and lovely lake view rooms.

  Excellent service and excellent hotel

  Just left Hilton Guiyang and move to Double Tree Anshun. This is the first time I stayed in Double Tree Anshun and my first trip to Guiyang service standard of both Hilton Guiyang and Double Tree Anshun are both exceptional good. For Double Tree Anshun, we booked 5 rooms this time with one Hilton Gold member and one Hilton Diamond member and 8 other friends in the trip. I especially wanted to highlight the exceptional customer services of Duty Manager John Li. From we first arrive the hotel, he provided exceptional services to us. 1) He freely upgraded us to better rooms for all 5 rooms. 2) After Check-In, he leaded us to executive lounge area. You may say this is just normal. But to my surprise, he even help to prepare the dishes of snacks for us. I dont expect the Duty Manager will be so proactive personal experience to customers. This really provide a VIP experience to us. As usual, Double Trees cookie is so good that we love it very much. I would also want to highlight the swimming pool is also very good. This is another excellent hotel and provide excellent services. I would highly recommend this hotel. Regards, Raymond Lo Hilton Gold member
