  Maybe the best business stays EVER!!!

  I want to start by saying that I travel 250 days out of the year and I pretty much live in hotels and this is the first time I have made the effort to write a review on a hotel I've stayed. I was in Hot Springs on business and came to the DoubleTree after not being completely satisfied with a previous hotel. I stayed in the hotel for 4 weeks and everything about the stay was amazing. Let's start with Josh the night shift front desk agent. I was working night shift and initially came to scope out the hotel at 4am after my shift. Josh was very helpful. He was willing to let me look at a room to make sure it met my requirements. He was even willing to show me to the room personally. And of course I was appreciative of all the cookies he provided me over the course of my stay. The most delightful part of each day was my breakfast served by Pam. I am a creature of habit and in no time Pam knew my order and all of my special requirements including the soft butter to spread on my toast. I can tell she was always wearing a smile even though she was wearing a face mask. She even reserved my table every morning after she realized that I was going to be a regular. I can't talk about the breakfast without giving kudos to Joe and Bill the two chefs that did a great job preparing my breakfast every morning for 31 days. My room was clean and modern and had the right amount of storage space for someone staying for a month. The housekeeping staff was also very accommodating when it came to cleaning my room around my sleep schedule. All of this is a great reflection of the General Manager Sean and the Sales Manager Kathy. Kathy took the time to call me to make sure my stay was going well and to ensure that any issues or concerns I had were rectified. If I had more than 2 days off over the course of the month I was at the hotel I would have been able to enjoy the wonderful lake view. If I'm ever in town on business or pleasure again I will definitely be staying at the Doubletree. I highly recommend it to anyone coming to town for any occasion

  Lovely hotel

  Enjoyed our week long stay here. Comfy room, plenty restaurants ect nearby and plenty to do in and around town. Friendly staff and service. Got a decent deal on our stay too. Clean and tidy. Great location for town and exploring away from town too.

  Business Trip

  Absolutely beautiful and up to date! USB ports in every nook and cranny, beautiful clean rooms, and beautiful view of the lake! TVs are already setup for viewing Roku type channels, Netflix, and other channels included!

  Barking dog

  My Husband and I stayed here for two nights. Each night we were awakened by a barking dog. The first night at 9:30 and the second night at midnight. We called the front desk both nights but they were unable to find the room where the barking was coming from. Will never stay there again. It is totally unacceptable for a nice hotel that charges their kind of rates to not provide a quiet nights sleep. If they cannot keep their guests dogs from barking late at night, they should not allow them in the hotel!

  Nice property!

  First visit to this property. Plenty of parking, restaurant is open fro breakfast and the staff are wonderful! This was a different chain hotel before and was completely remodeled into the Doubletree. The property is located right on the lake so nice views in the morning. I had a large suite with a sofa, chairs, desk, separate bedroom area and large bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The shower strangely enough is still a tub and shower and not a walk in like most hotels are transitioning to. Also, if you wanted hot water in the sink you have to run the water for a minimum of 7-10 minutes. Very strange. the shower however gets hot right away. Something needs to be address there for sure! Thankfully the restaurant was open for sit-down breakfast which was nice and the bar was open. Glad to have more of this on my trips. Some sense of getting back to normal instead of the terrible grab and go breakfast offers at most chains. Looking forward to my next visit here!
