  Dirty Drug Needles in the carpet, brother found it with his foot

  I have recommend this hotel to countless people never having stayed there. My family came into town, had rooms at another roach hotel, see other review, I insisted they come to the Double Tree as it is Greeley's newest and "BEST" They needed an ADA room for a wheelchair and bigger bathroom, I booked the room for them. Later that first evening when getting ready for bed my brother stepped on a broken hypodermic needle that was buried in the carpet. The front desks reply to the situation was "well was it yours?" The hotel was of no help. The next morning a second was found embedded in the carpet. We went to the front desk and asked to have the room cleaned extensively as they had booked other groups into all of the other ADA rooms that would allow for a wheelchair. Upon returning the toilet paper was folded into a beautiful diamond, the bed were made up neat, all of the debris that was on the floor from the first time they walked in was still on the floor, including but not limited to, old skittles, orange peels, trash, paper shreds, a vile twist top. We had the front desk come up an look, she was appalled at the condition of the room. No other rooms were available for a wheel chair in the entire hotel so they begrudgingly stayed the last night. No help with the dirty needle problem. Went to the ER and he started a bunch of extremely expensive HIV and Hepatitis medication. I will never allow anyone I know to stay here. Hopefully your experiences in this hotel go better. There are nice hotels in Winsdor or Loveland, I recommend wearing shoes to bed if you stay. Oh lastly, there is no restriction of non hotel guests getting on the elevator and going to any floor they choose. Covid Precautions were not followed, if you believe in such a thing. One of the question below to answer is that supposidly this hotel had doctors on call too, who the hell knew that... the people working there couldn't even get a hold of a manager for two days. What a joke.

  Excellent

  We enjoyed our two night stay at the DoubleTree in Greeley. Staff quite courteous. Rooms large and quiet. Enjoyed being downtown where we could take a walk. Downside is that the price doesn't include breakfast but with COVID right now the provided breakfasts aren't great. We enjoyed having the availability of the on-side restaurant which we found very good. Staff seemed quite aware of the COVID rules and were implementing them.

  We will NEVER stay here again.

  We checked in last night after our wedding and were disgusted. We got the presidential suite at $250 a night. The room wasnt even clean. The coffee pot still had the previous persons grounds. I stepped on someone elses earring and almost went through my foot! We went to get in bed and pulled the covers back and the sheets were disgusting, covered in what looked like dry blood. The staff was unhelpful and rather rude. They moved us to a different room with a double size bed and still expected us to PAY! Our wedding night was ruined and we ended having to drive 2 hours home due to their actions.

  Hit all the right spots, BUT.....

  The Doubletree was lovely in many ways -- new, clean, nice staff, open spaces, good restaurant, nice sheets and towels, downtown, lots of room. BUT... staff did not ask guests to wear masks. There was a sign on the door, but many, many folks were NOT wearing masks in the elevator and in the common first floor lounge. When questioned, staff said they could not ask guests to wear masks even though there is a Colorado mandate to do so. We stayed multiple days and this was the case each day. We are older and this is important to us. So if it is important to you, as a traveler, you might consider a different hotel.

  Love this hotel

  We have made multiple stays at this Doubletree. It is great. A perfect sized hotel for all types of stays. The lobby is big and welcoming with a great fireplace and lots of seating for hanging out with family and friends. Right next to the lobby is Meekers restaurant and bar. Good food and specials. The rooms are big and super clean. Many offer great views. Parking is super easy and free. The location cant be better. Just a block to many restaurants, breweries and bars. Lastly, but not least, the staff everywhere in the hotel is great. We will be back soon.
