    Business Meeting

    Great venue for a conference. The food and service were excellent. Employees were very attentive to our needs. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and pleasantly updated. The bartender extended the friendliest welcome.

    - [ ] Yeah, no. This was not a good experience. I am VERY understanding to COVID restrictions but some stuff is intolerable. The city has lifted its restrictions and everything is open now. First off, I messaged the hotel, through the app, with NO response at all to my questions. Upon arrival, the front desk clerk did not greet us when we came in. We didnt need to stop directly at the front desk, as we already checked in online, but he (the husky black man) still SHOULD have greeted us. What did greet us was the foul odor in the elevators. They smelled like wet dog, mold and ass. The hallways smelled similar but not as bad. Our room is decorated nice but then we notice the desk area had not been cleaned properly. We decided to ignore it. Then, in the bathroom, we find two small black roaches. One dead and one alive. I kill it and move on with our night. This morning we call and ask for more towels and we are instructed to come down to get them. The front desk clerk (older white guy) was nice and apologetic in his tone but didnt explain why we had to come get them ourselves. He was talking to another worker at the time. I guess that was more important. I asked him what should we do with the used towels. He said to sit them outside and someone would be by to get them. We leave for the day, come back 13 hours later and the towels are STILL outside the door. Smh... Also, we came back to a very hot room. We left the air set to 70 on purpose. Apparently the power went out and three other guests called and complained about the same thing. The front desk clerk (middle aged black lady) thought it appropriate to finally call the engineer out to fix the problem after the fourth person (myself) reported the issue. This is insane. This is a sh*t renovated hotel if you ask me. I know the hotel is going to respond with some half assed, generic apology so Ill go ahead and say this.... Unless you are giving me a refund for my second night or points to make up for this foolishness, I dont want to hear a thing. No I dont want an empty promise of doing better on my next stay just so you can save face with people seeing this review. I Would most likely never stay here again.

    TRASH FOUL SMELLY

    I only stayed here because there was a conference I was going to in the same building... when I pulled in the parking lot their were bags of fast food trash strewn about..... when I came in the helped me find conference... very nice.... when I checked in and went to my room in the second floor... as soon as the elevator doors opened there was an OVERWHELMING STENCH OF OLD TRASH. OVERWHELMING. I checked in at 3:00 and I finally called the front desk around 6:30 to let them know and the lady curtly let me know the lady that picks it up would be in shortly. No apology no actual acknowledgment that this was a real issue.... The toilet seat was NOT wiped down in my room you could see the nasty dried up residues on it and there was hair on the seat. The smell from the hallway is enough to be entitled to a refund or coupon to another property. I would NOT recommend this hotel at all... because of the nonchalant attitude to the cleanliness of the property. I attached photos of all the trash that was left on the hallways for hours just rotting away.

    Very disappointing stay!

    This hotel is WORTHLESS. From the Customer Service that greats you, Alan was the person who checked us in & he WASNT the most friendliest. On our floor the ice machine was leaking onto the floor/carpet which we reported to front desk, there were trash bags on our floor even next to our room that housekeeping didn't pick up & was reported to Alan due to the foul smell & he sounded very dismissive. The room wasn't cleaned 100%, the bathroom had many issues. There are many signs requiring guests to wear masks even in the elevator but this is not being monitored. There was a convention going on (Two full buses full of people) & 90% of people walked around all public areas of the hotel without them, even barefoot throughout the lobby. We had to walk out of the elevator a few times because people didn't wear a mask & management could care LESS about the guests like us that do care. No welcoming cookies are given even tho the automated system mentions them when you call to ask questions. The Excuse given to us about the cookies was that the kitchen was closed due to Covid 19. Parking lot had people smoking all over, even weed. No one should have to walk around & inhale that. The hotel does not look as perfect & spotless as you see in the photos online. Overall, we won't be back EVER. Get your services in order!

    Birthday!

    I totally enjoyed my overnight stay here! The location was close to everything I needed and also the mall! I forgot the guy name that was at the desk but he was very helpful. The bed was very very comfortable! The only downfall was the $8.00 for a bagged breakfast it wasn't included in the price, but it's ok the overall stay was great! The location was quiet also. Free parking also
