  An older property but nicely renovated! Definitely enjoyed my stay.

  I was on a solo road trip in November 2020 and had the opportunity to stay at this DoubleTree on a Sunday night. Overall, I was fairly impressed. My check-in process went smoothly. The woman who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. My room (#706) was clean and comfortable... no complaints there. Overall, you can tell that it's an older property but it's nice and modern-looking on the inside. I appreciated the fact that the on-site restaurant was open for dinner. (I would have likely had dinner there if I was hungry enough to do so.) One thing I appreciated was the free parking. I got the feeling that, normally, guests park in a garage or some parking structure behind the property, but in this case, I was able to park out front in what normally appeared to be a section reserved only for the brief time that gets are getting checked in. The parking was certainly convenient! The only thing that I was disappointed with is the fact that the business center computers were out of order. I usually have certain websites I prefer to check on a regular computer with a full monitor... as opposed to using my phone. I mentioned something to the nice lady at the front desk, and bless her heart, she told me I was welcome to use one of the computers at the front desk. That was so kind of her to do, but I declined her offer because I wouldn't have felt right doing that... especially if other guests would be coming up to the front desk. So I just did without my computer use during my stay. I would definitely enjoy the opportunity to stay at this hotel again... someday in the future if I ever find myself spending another night in Huntington. Perhaps I'll be hungry enough to dine at the restaurant on site. :)

  Best Bartenders

  Hotel was great. Good location for where i had to be. Brandi and Amanda at The bar made it an awesome stay. Very friendly and attentive, they are great and will make your time spent there amazing. I will be back.

  Banquet event/ wedding rehearsal dinner

  Our family held a wedding rehearsal dinner at this location on 01/22/21. Working with the banquet manager (Eugene) was a delight. The salmon and boneless breaded chicken choices along with the fresh salads, red roasted potatoes, veggie medley, and fresh cut fruit salad made for an excellent meal. Amanda and the serving staff (Sarah and Mariah in particular) were excellent and made the event special in the midst of all the COVID restrictions.

  Memorable Service

  We felt very welcomed at this hotel. The staff were extremely warm and friendly. In particular, Ian and Brandi. Brandi was a great bartender. She kept up really well with the very busy bar area, and was always so friendly. She rocks! Ian saved the day. He was working the front desk that evening, and we were looking for a late night snack. We asked him for suggestions, and he not only suggested a delicious pizza place, he also gave us warm chocolate chip cookies to enjoy that evening! Yum! and assisted us with a late checkout. Ian made our stay memorable!

  still at the hotel due to working love the place but ive noticed if i leave my change out it always comes up missing doesnt matter if its pennies nickles or dimes it always goes missing at first it wasnt a issue but now its almost a everyday habit
