expected better
Could be a good familly hotel, if the rooms were not outdated. Could be better if the germans and dutch not reserving all the sun loungers 6 oclock in the morning and only using em on the afternoon. Could be a better hotel if the breakfast had more choice. Could be better if the shopkeepers wont mithering everyone to buy something. Could be better hotel if the staf not tip orientated. Could be a better hotel if chaing the menu daily not yearly . Could be better hotel if icecream included in all inclusive. Otherwise the hotel location good Everything was clean swiming pool good except the lack of sun loungers. price is reasonable. 80% of the staff friendly except the Bar women in the (biliard) bar near the reception. she is proper miserable. if you go shoping around the shopkeepers seting the price by your face and nationality.

Lovely hotel and brilliant staff.
A fabulous hotel that does not get the credit, the staff are absolutely lovely when you get talking to them and are always accommodating and talkative and could never do enough for you if you are friendly, we were the only English people in the hotel but this was not a problem as everyone treated us the same and were very friendly. The facilities and rooms are always clean and tidy and are cleaned on the days you want however the aircon is not brilliant and the door has to be left open to let air flow between the two rooms, and the pool and restaurant areas were always clean. The main bar is never too busy, especially if you get a seat closer to the bar and the day and night bartenders are always kind and accommodating, however cocktails are not on all inclusive. The entertainment staff were also all lovley, although very loud, and were always looking to get people involved. I would recommend this hotel fully and would stay here again.

First impressions
Arrived at 4 am. Long transfers but comfy coach to ourselves. On arrival the hotel looks a little deserted. Checked into our room, clean, spacious. Bed is more comfortable than most. Amazing shower plenty of hot water. Good wi fi Breakfast lunch and dinner gas plenty of choice. Drinks are good and was not fighting for a sun bed . Staff have been tentative and friendly. Not too many English but everybody is welcoming. Further updates later

Average hotel with very poor staff.
It is an all-inclusive hotel. We arrived in the early afternoon and were brought to our room after arrival without further explanation. We could not close the safe and we were told at the reception that we could get a rental key. We wanted to relax quietly from our flight and went to the pool. Here we could not find beach towels, but according to a co-worker we could get these through tickets available at the reception. I could get this at the reception, but we had to pay again. Including payment, I was at the reception 4 times within an hour. At the pool we could not find the employee anymore and no one could tell me where we could find the beach towels. I had had enough and didn't go to the reception for the fifth time. The next day our hostess asked at the reception where we could find the towels, but they told here they were only available at the beach. Later that day at the beach location of the hotel on 25 minutes walking from the hotel the manager did not know anything about beach towels, and we had to buy them in a shop. The hotel is a bit dated and could use a makeover. The rooms themselves are clean and we got new beach towels every day. After 4 days we got clean sheets. I think this is a 3 stars hotel. The food was very good, fresh and plenty of choice and variety. During our stay, the dinner times were suddenly brought forward by half an hour. Unfortunately, that was very badly indicated, and we were late for dessert that day. The waiters tend to get everything back from your table right away. One evening I searched for a fork for 5 minutes. The waiters bring one drink to your table but mixed up our orders several times. The hotel has its own beach, just over 2 kilometers away and 25 to 30 minutes' walk away. There is a bus every hour to and from the beach. The sun beds have had their best time and on the beach. To have lunch you have to go back to the hotel. In the evening there was an animation program, but we couldn't find a program anywhere. Still we had a nice vacation, despite of the service of the staff. We had perfect weather, Side is a nice place with a lot of old Greek ruins and nice shops. The center takes about 50 minutes of walking or you can take a but for about one Euro. It only takes a few minutes to find a bus.

recent stay
( i was worried after reading reviews and being for the uk ) But The hotel its self is good its location is good although on arrival you get taken back as not on a main street but it is a very short walk to lots of shops and restraunts -- the staff were very helpful friendly and hard working- there was allways a good selection of food and not alot of noise - overall a good week very relaxing and friendly atmosphere- spa was good- pools are good and you could allways get a sunbed, evening entertaiment as it is in most hotels again never without a seat. Aircon in rooms good and rooms are of a good size and cleaned daily - - i will be back for another holiday . thanks :-)
