    Perfect Location

I stayed one night in Dormy Inn. Location is nice and very near with the station. There are many convenient store and you can find local food in the station. This hotel has hot public bath and complimentary ramen for dinner. Room was small but it has nice design. Staff was friendly and they can speak English very well.

    Nice location

I stayed in this hotel due to the close proximity of Tsu station. Nagoya and Matsusaka are both within an hour from Tsu by train. The tasty breakfast plus free noodles served at 9:30 pm are value for money. Public bath and sauna facilities are very nice for travelers walking long distance in day time.

Fine if you dont need a WiFi connection

For the most part, this hotel is fine. The bed is comfortable, the HVAC unit works fine, The onsen (hot tub) area was well laid out and equipped. For what its worth, the remote control for the HVAC unit doesnt have an English option. Breakfast had lots of choices as long as you are looking for Japanese food, but it had few western options other than croissant and some waffles. Dont expect a toast bar or cereal. The main reason I am giving this such a low review rating, is that the Internet connection through Wi-Fi works for about 60 seconds and then stops. Since since arrival yesterday, until breakfast today, the Wi-Fi still reads no Internet connection. It is behaving as though it is throttling. Once I start downloading an TV episode from Amazon Prime Video, it literally drops all internet access. Some might think it is unfair to write a hotel poorly based on Internet connectivity but I must take this from average down to poor because of how bad the connectivity is. We all have cellular plans, right? But what if you need to FaceTime with somebody in another country? Does your data plan need to take that hit when you paid for a hotel? What if you need to download something like I was doing, l for the long train ride back to Tokyo? Having a working, rock-solid WiFi connection at your hotel seems essential in 2019. I just wish they had done something in the last 14 hours to fix the connectivity problems.

Reasonable Hotel at Unreasonable Price During F1 Weekend.

The hotel had literally tripled its prices due to it being F1 weekend at Suzuka Circuit. And despite paying triple the normal price for my room, breakfast wasn't even included, which I found to be more than a little stingy! This being said, the hotel offers unrivaled access to Tsu train station - two minutes walk from the hotel door, Then 18 minutes on the local train to Suzuka Circuit In Station, 1 hour in the other direction and you are in Osaka Namba. The immediate area of the hotel is fairly industrial and bleak. Nearby. there is a small Lawsons and Family Mart where you can stock up on basic snacks, drinks, and the omnipresent Japanese microwaveable meals There is a microwave oven and a couple of vending machines on the 2nd floor of the hotel. However, If you get fed up with eating fishy things or heating up these awful microwavable meals that the Japanese seem to live on, there is a large Aeon supermarket around 20 mins walk.. Inside you can find a McDonald's and KFC, among others. Sanity & appetite restored! The room was tiny but functional. Bed was the typical Japanese 'small double' offering, and only two thin pillows were provided for two guests which led to an uncomfortable sleep. TV only had local channels - mainly ludicrous gameshows about food. There are a fridge and kettle provided. Bathroom was also small, but shower had good water pressure and temperature. There was no noise disturbance from inside or outside the hotel during our stay. If it wasn't for the daylight robbery on the room rates during race weekend, this would be a reasonable budget hotel.
