  Hotel onsen fabuloso¡¡¡

  El hotel se encuentra a 5 minutos caminando de la estacion de tren donde llegan los shinkasen, y aproximadamente a 15 min camiinando del castillo de Wakayama; el hotel esta bastante nuevo , tiene muchas facilidades, para los viajeros, las habitaciones, son muy comodas, aunque pequeñas tiene servcio de autolavanderia, tieen un onsen fabuloso, en todos los pisos hay maquinas de bebidad, horno microonddas, y maquina de hielo y el desayuno esta muy bueno, y encuentra tanto desayuno japones, como occidental.

  You never go wrong with Dormy Inn

  Having stayed in several other Dormy Inn, I knew I made the right choice as soon as I checked into the hotel. The location is located close to JR station and that there are several restaurants near to the hotel. Modern room with standard amenities and has a onsen which though small is comfortable if you go at a right time. The hotel comes with the standard free washing machine but a coin service dryer which I want to add has strong heating power that a good 40 minutes would dry your clothes. The breakfast though is a little disappointing compared to other Dormy Inn but still adequate for a nice breakfast. As said you wouldnt go wrong with Dormy Inn

  Average. Tattoos banned!

  Average business style hotel, handy from the station (where you can pick up an affordable breakfast) For me the biggest downside is that despite offering a free onsen I am excluded thanks to the prejudice of the hotel. I know the Japanese are beyond prudish when it comes to tattoos but I would think in a 21st century business hotel this might be less strict. But nope, it's on the rules alongside not being intoxicated in the 'onsen'. Almost like the 2 go hand in hand. I don't mind that they have the rule, but it should be made clear that not everyone is welcome before you book and pay. Free laundry is a bonus (though you'll need to go into the segregated baths to use it) We didn't eat here as it seemed expensive for what was on offer.

  Great Budget Friendly Hotel

  Dormy Inn is my go to hotel in Japan as it's not easy to find budget friendly hotels with onsen facilities within walking distance to train stations. The twin room we got in Wakayama was big for Japan's standards. Very clean and located just a few minutes walk from the train station and bus terminus.

  Good hotel at convenient location

  Dormy Inn has all the standard amenities, as well as an onsen. In the changing room for the onsen there are free washing machines and paid (and high-powered) coin dryers available. It's located just a couple blocks from the station and is very accessible. We didn't try the hotel breakfast as it looked a bit pricy, but we did go to the hotel restaurant for late night ramen as they were offering it free to guests after 9:00pm. It wasn't the best ramen in the city, but it was certainly the best free ramen that I've ever had.
