  Dorint Sassouvi is absolutely a perfect location to explore Potsdam and its famous sightseeing spots - friendly and helpful staff - excellent selection for breakfast and decent room quality - parking available for 20 EUR for 24 hours

  Just a bit above average

  Average decor and size, but clean room. Breakfast tasty. Nice evening meal in a restaurant, polite and helpful staff. Beautiful art deco bar but sadly closed when we were there. This hotel is clearly aimed at business people rather than anyone. Swimming pool a bit too cold.

  Stayed in the Dorint for just two nights but overall, a pleasant hotel. Room was a good size with all the things you need. TV is mostly German stations with little or no international channels. WiFi good. Overall, a good place to go for short term stay. Only negative was that the bar was very small.

  Nice hotel

  Nice hotel if you are visiting Potsdam. Reasonably priced. Rooms are spacious and comfortable Breakfast is good. Internet is very good. Only issue is that if you arrive, as I did, after 1030pm you can't get anything to eat either in the hotel or the nearby surrounding area.

  Just average

  We visited the hotel as part of a weekend trip in Potsdam. The hotel is well located between the touristic areas. The staff was friendly and tried there best to give us a pleasant stay. The hotel itself is in good shape, just getting a bit tired. You can see that the hotel has done the important investments to keep it going. The feel of it is just a bit outdated. The room was clean. You could see that it was getting a bit rough around the corners but it is still OK. The bar near the entrance must have been designed in a time when cold and matalic colours have been fashionable, now it just does not feel welcoming anymore. The restaurant has some serious prices which kept us away at dinner times. We rather ate outside. The breakfast was always busy however the staff managed with the stress OK. They had been well prepared for the 9am rush and kept us all fed. Good job.
