  Un hotel para satisfacer la necesidad de alojamiento del momento

  Nos alojamos dos noches en este hotel en Levanto, convenientemente cerca para visitar el parque nacional Cinque Terre. La habitación que nos tocó era extremadamente pequeña con un baño de iguales características y cuya puerta ocupaba la mitad del espacio interior. Las personas en la recepción no se destacaron por su amabilidad, sin embargo, cumplieron con lo suyo. El desayuno, abundante, pero excesivamente cargado a lo dulce con pocas alternativas saladas. En resumen, un alojamiento que no se destacó por nada, pero que cumplió con lo básico. Debo destacar que no teníamos reserva y era fin de semana largo, razones por las que no había alternativas para elegir y nos conformamos con menos que lo habitual.

  Great location, spacious rooms

  The location of Hotel Dora is very central. Walking distance to the beach and loads of spots to eat in. The bedroom was spacious, the bathroom was very small though. We had use of the deck at the front of the hotel along the street, and staff were helpful. Its right across from a supermarket. The breakfast was expansive, our only complaint with the place was that the scrambled eggs were too runny, likely powered eggs.

  Poor value for money

  Cons: Very small bedroom and bathroom. Narrow free standing shower. Basic bed. No block out curtains. "Free" internet only works at reception and dining area-not in your room . Air conditioner works but only at full power which is noisy- can't adjust the temperature. Buffet breakfast is only average. Pros: Clean. Small TV. Small bar fridge. Friendly staff. For 125/night this represents poor value for money and I would definitely not elect to stay here again.

  Cinque Terre visit start point

  3 * hotel .very well located .Walking distance to train station and city centre and beach.Has free parking which is convenient.Room is big for enough for a European hotel.Clean and quiet for a city one.My room had a nice view on lemon and orange trees on a courtyard.Bathroom had a shower, bidet,heating towel dryer,hair dryer. Breakfast was included in the price served in downstairs restaurant.Breakfast had Italian and American style choices.nice and clean restaurant.Staff at the restaurant as well as at the reception helpful and courteous.There is a market across from the hotel to buy bottled water. Hotel has a balcony with tables to sit and enjoy the nice weather.I would recommend the hotel as your base for the Cinque Terre adventure. Nice place .

  Great Location/Clean room/Great service

  We originally booked with another accommodation but the booking was mixed up and we did not like the alternative arrangement so we were on the street exhausted and without a hotel. Hotel Dora was the very first hotel we walked in to see if we can get a room. Luckily they had 1 room left. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Given our desperate situation, we could have been charged a high rate, but the hotel was honest and rate was very reasonable. The check-in was fast. We were appreciative that we walked to Hotel Dora first. During our stay at Hotel Dora, we saw this gentleman from time to time and he was always friendly and quick in providing assistance whenever we need it. As many reviewers have said, Hotel Dora is in walking distance from the train station, the city centre and the beach. There is a supermarket across from the hotel. On Wednesdays, the local market will also be open and it is set up on the street next to the hotel. Our room#9 is not big. It has big windows which l like. Bathroom is typical size of European hotels. Furniture is basic. Our bed was two twins put together but it was comfortable. What we were most impressed was the cleanliness of the room. The two ladies who clean our room work diligently. As a guest you can really notice if they clean your room thoroughly or just brush on the surface. The room is cleaned every day, it always smells nice. The washroom remained clean and fresh the entire time. We found the breakfast at Hotel Dora decent. There are hard-boil eggs, cheese, cold-cuts, bacon and scrambled-eggs. Good pastry, fruits, oats, juice, coffee and water. Other info: * There is a safe in the room. * You can leave your key at the front desk. * If you return to the hotel past midnight, make sure you let the front desk know. *You can ask the front desk for beach towels.
