  Buen Hotel, con comfort y buena ubicacion

  Buen Hotel, con comfort y con muy buenos servicios y con tranquilidad. Tiene una ubicacion ideal para desde alli a pie explorar el casco historico de Visby. Cerca del puerto y del Jardin Botanico. Muy bonito todo.

  Excellent weekend in Visby

  Donner Hotell is situated in the old part of Visby close to the small boat harbour. It is a short walk to all the sights and restaurants within the walled in part of the city. The room was more like a suite, on the first floor. Lots of space, clean, and a nice sitting. Breakfast was very good and staff very nice and helpful.

  Great experience at this little hotel

  I had a great stay at this cute little hotel during my weekend stay in Gotland. It was everything we wanted: cute, cheap, clean, and within walking distance of the harbour. Friendly staff, decent wifi, good shower. And a great location across from a visitor information centre. Also, fantastic breakfast was included. My friend and I were totally blown away by the buffet-style breakfast spread with fresh fruit and veg, cheese, yogurt, pastries, etc. etc. Great variety for any diet.

  Comfortable

  Cosy little hotel in central Visby. Nice architecture. Comfortable beds and good breakfast. Soap offered in the room is disappointing and needs to be updated. Parking is close to hotel which is nice. It would have been preferred if the hotel had a restaurant but they dont, however its close to many others within walking distance

  Good rooms, goood breakfast, terrible wifi

  Nothing wrong with the room or the hotels basic functions. Clean rooms with squeaking floors (old building), good beds, security box in the room and modern bathrooms. They have an elevator, but there are stairs to enter the front door. Breakfast is good or at least average Swedish standard. There are no parking available at the hotel, but there are public parking 200-300m away close to the library at the park. On the downside is the wi-fi. It's free but the coverage was terrible. I had a more stable and stronger signal from the hotel across the street than the hotels own network. Also, the bathtub shower is beyond stupidity with a too short hose for the showerhead to reach above your head. Add to this that you can't adjust the showerhead to pointing downwards- only straight out and you have water everywhere besides where you want it. Small things that are annoying but still only small things. Breakfast is served quite late for if you are in Visby for work. It starts on weekdays from 0700 which is at least 30 min too late.
