  Wonderful Hotel in a Charming Town

  Try to book a corner room on an upper floor and you will be rewarded with a commanding view of the beautiful town of Samedan. Being less than 10 minutes by train from the more bustling St. Moritz, Samedan is a quieter alternative. About a 10-15 minute uphill walk (or a very short taxi ride) on cobblestones from the train station will bring you to this delightful hotel. After check in, if there is time, avail yourself of the guest passes to the four story spa just down the street. It is the perfect place to unwind after traveling or hiking. Full, delicious breakfasts in a room with views are included to start your day. The staff is very attentive and dedicated to making your stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. Having only stayed one night, I hope to return some day to take advantage of this hotel during other seasons of the year.

  Great hotel with wonderful staff

  Super happy with this hotel and had a great long weekend here in late summer (only just realised that I didn't write a review). The rooms are well appointed and extremely clean and the staff are excellent. Right from the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel at home. If you stay for a few nights you also get the super added bonus of a pass to the wonder Samedan Spa. Can't say enough about this one - double thumbs up for a wonderful hotel in a great location.

  Everything so perfect

  Location is near train stations and in the village centre. There's a parking place right near the hotel free of charge even if not many places are available. Nice and very clean rooms, comfortable beds, very good breakfast and a very nice restaurant with a la carte menu or half board menu with a good choice for vegetarian. Staff very kind. We have also the possibility to enjoy cable car, chair lift, funiculars and trains for free..! Wow. Was a very nice holiday break

  Super friendly place

  What a lovely hotel! The welcome was very friendly indeed from one of the owners I think and a little bag with a towel etc for using the nearby sauna and also a discount / free travel card for buses and trains in the local area, great touch. The room was airy and comfortable and a clean equipped bathroom. Samedan is not a huge place and the hotel is around 5 minutes walk up into the town from the RhB railway station. I ate one night in the restaurant where the food was just lovely and traditional (deer for me) and was so tasty but inevitably expensive for Switzerland! Highly recommended though and a lovely place to stay and I am missing the clean alpine air already!

  Perfect stay - definately coming back

  Excellent location and base for travel around the Engadin. 7 minute walk to Samedan train station. Professional and very friendly service, great English spoken, lovely clean and comfortable room. Bonus inclusions like the Mineralbad tickets (really stunning mineral bath house just a 6 minute walk away) and public transportation tickets around the Engadin are fantastic! We did the half board package (breakfast and 4 course nightly dinners) which was all very delicious. Interestingly, the dinner package even allows a choice for mains (meat, fish or veg) and a choice between cheese or dessert. We had dinner int he wine bar and Restaurant Padella and both were exceptional. Lovely wine selection too. Cool wine shop (with a fun degustation concept) across the road, and great cafe/bakery a 4 minute walk down the road. We are expats living in Switzerland so we have adjusted to Swiss prices, but the value, quality and friendliness of this establishment is second to none. Looking forward to coming back and checking out this place in winter.
