Don Pedro Sept 2012Stayed here 2012, myself and wife, absolutely loved the place, yes as in alot of previous reviews,it's a little dated, but the general surrounding area,is truly stunning. It's a quiet location, but both myself and wife loved it at The Don Pedro, and have been eagerly awaiting a return after the re vamp has been carried out Sept 2015 looking fav, time for our return to The Don Pedro. Staff are lovely,at this hotel, and are a real part of this lovely place.

Fantastic chilled holidayHad a lovely week away with daughter sister nice and friends! The food was fantastic lots of choice all cooked fresh and replenished! Staff very friendly and courteous! The dress code at evening meals was nor always adhered to! But as week went on improved! The location and views of hotel amazing and spoke to people who go back year after year and can understand why! only thing what let it down was air conditioning wasn't always working effectively!! But I would go back again as such a gorgeous place!!

2014 Holiday in MajorcaA group of 4 of us (age 22-25) we went there last year for a holiday. We didn't book it over tripadvisor, that was all inclusive package from the Thomas Cook. The Hotel is located in the beautiful bay (such a lovely view from the balcony+ sound of the sea= amazing!) They have got beach which belongs to the hotel it's not the best one but it's ok. Just to let you know it's really quiet place, to be honest nothing to do on evening (night out? forget!) we have been so bored! They were trying to organise some kind of entertainment: karaoke or some sort of quizzes but we didn't like it much. I was so happy that we rented a car so we could travel a little bit! I would like to point out a few things to give you a picture about the hotel. Restaurant? Hmm...They have got restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not sure what to say. Food was all right (hot, fresh and always different choices) but nothing to die for. I was expecting more local food than English cuisine that's why I didn't like it so much. Bar? That was the biggest disappointment for me. The cheapest spirits, really small choice and really bad cocktails. If you want to get tipsy forget about it! Just go somewhere else for a drink. Car park? They haven't got car park which belongs to the hotel but there is few places on the street (top one, main entrance to the hotel) where you can live your car without any problems. Wi-Fi? I paid for that quite a lot don't remember how much but it was a crap! It didn't make any sense, it wasn't working! at all I went to the reception to complain about it and They told me we are so sorry but your room is located on the end of the hallway so that's why you have got poor signal and anyway internet here in Majorca is not good everywhere! I was really annoyed. Safe, iron ? if you want to get it you need to pay extra for it! The most annoying thing was the card( power supply) attached to the keys. Every time you leave your room your electricity in your room goes off so you can't live your mobile phone charging. Staff always polite, smiley, helpful. Especially Spanish guy (around 26 years old) unfortunately can't remember his name. We all had great time there but can't highly recommend it to any one. If you'll get a car than you can safe your holiday from boredom!

Not what we expectedMy wife and I chose this hotel mainly because of the location and the fact that it was adult only. The food was very good and the staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel had some good points such as the roof top Blue Bar on an evening and plenty of quiet areas in and out of the hotel. The animation team worked hard and long hours. Well done to them. What we didn't like was there was no dress code and people came in to dinner looking like they were just going out to the sunbeds. I know it's a subject that some people find trivial but I believe when others around you make an effort to dress for the evening meal, especially the ladies, then to not comply is both rude and slovenly. I would expect this from a two star self catering in a young persons resort. There were goats from the surrounding hills coming into hotel after food during the day and evening and nothing was done to stop them. Nice to see the goats but not when the take food off your plate. Overall, we did enjoy our time at the hotel but felt it did not deserve its star rating and needs to tighten up on some things if it wants to improve its standards and clientele.
