  A very good value for money 5 star

  Having researched a handful of great places in or around Porto Vecchio to spend four days at, we have pout our choice on this hotel. The location and facilities are very attractive. Although there is no beach access, the two pools are of an excellent size and the outside restaurant by the pool is friendly. The service is usually of a high standard, special mention to the pool restaurant staff, the cleaning ladies, the reception personnel and the boat rental manager. Only reserve I would put : the breakfast is average. But altogether a great place to stay at.

  Nice place with wrong price policy

  It is a lovely hotel but it is difficult to enjoy as the pricey food and drinks makes you exit for restaurants two or three times a day. 9 euros for a beer, 18 euros for a bagel and 48 euros for a simple pasta dish. Ridiculous!

  7 star pricing for a 3 star service

  We stayed 7 nights in July with our 16 yr old daughter. This hotel is very poorly managed. Our A/C did not work properly and the room was extremely hot at night. We complained and ask for a room change and after three days we manage to change into another room where the A/C did not work either. Wifi connection is so poor and they just argue is an island problem. They did not let us cross the SPA doors as they said you need a reservation in advance and a 20 euros payment. Incredible! The General Manager does not speak english/spanish, only french, We needed a translator to be able to complain. They said the A/C should only be 6 degrees below the outside temperature and they recommended us to keep the room blinds down. So you are paying for ocean views and have to keep your blinds down the whole day. Our daughter managed to get a fan as her back room was well above 32 celsius the whole time. You cannot eat or drink at the hotel as the prices are above the sky. 9 euros for a beer or 40 euros for any rooms service dish. No affordable food or dishes (sandwich/burger/salad/pasta) below 25 euros. Brekafast was 35 euros per person. The only good things were the young reception personnel and the car valet service. The pool is really nice also and the location of the hotel is really good and tranquil. Don't stay at this hotel. the price/quality ratio is absurd. They promised a 10% off in our bill which did not happen. The last day they offer to upgrade our room for one night and we declined their proposal. Very late! we will not come back!

  Un castillo imperdible

  Creado en 1928 declarado monumento historico coserva su explendor adaptado a las comodidades de este siglo camas muy comodas buena ropa blanca buenos restaurantes y cordialidad de su personal, muy linda playa y buenas piletas todo para una gran estadia

  Nice property but overpriced

  Pretty little property with a good location but weird vibe. During busy season, there were no guests on the property during the day. Theres no beach, the pool is empty, and its hard to find someone to get a drink from. The place is kinda dead. Seems like everyone did what we did - sleep there and then go out for the day and evening. The food was way overpriced and disappointing so there wasnt a great reason to hang out here. The rooms were very nice, and the service was friendly. The front desk and concierge did a great job helping make restaurant and sun bed reservations. They pushed their boat tours, but we werent willing to pay the huge price for just two of us. But overall, the service was very good. We were there during the busiest time, so I understand paying a premium. But it wasnt worth the 800 EU/day charge, and thats even with getting a free upgrade.
