Great views, nice bath but definitely weird atmosphereWe arrived here with great anticipation but were soon rather disappointed. The welcoming by the hosts was awkward - basically we stood in their living room and had the feeling that we had just stepped into their family life. Yes, of course it is a B&B, but this was too personal and just did not make us feel at home. The rooms are away from the main house and have a large glass sliding door next to the bed which is the only entrance. The view is truly spectacular, definitely agree on that. Also the surroundings of the B&B are nice. But sleeping next to a big glass door with a huge curtain was not ours, it did not feel cozy or comfy at all. The bathroom was good, very modern. Breakfast was bad, pre-baked rolls from the oven and not much selection. In summary, this hotel is a matter of taste. The views were great, the rooms were not. We left after one night.

nice staySecond choice while fleeing from our first horrible one, the difference was overwhelming. We were extremely lucky to find room for 5 nights here in full season without reservation. Although not in the downstairs rooms with full scenic views from the bed, the upstairs room is very spacious, comfortable and has the same view from two rooftop windows. Friendly, welcoming hosts. Breakfast is the usual continental, nothing more, but with a stunning view over the coast and islands. We did not have the chance to take an evening meal at this location but got a very good recommendation by the owner for a local restaurant which was excellent. Slight inconvenience: wifi is available but is hard to connect to inside the room. A bench outside the main house resolves the problem. Definitely a place where we would like to go back to explore the area.

Unmissable sunsetsA modern B&B with picture-window rooms appointed to 5* quality. If you are visiting Brittany, Buhez Nevez is not only perfectly placed for Ploumanac'h and the Pink Granite Coast, but it also gives you fantastic sea views and sunsets without even stepping outside your room on to the terrace. The hosts Thierry and Solange are lovely and their website even invites you to book personal sea-fishing trips with him. Thierry even proudly showed me that our room had a kettle complete with tea bags and coffee sachets. Everything has been chosen with quality in mind and the beds are very comfortable. My only regret is that it may be many years before my travels take me there again.
