  Perfect location. Lovely hotel.

  We loved the D.O.M. ! It is in a perfect location within walking distance of almost every attraction. It was a small boutique hotel with a limited number of rooms and a delicious breakfast every morning. The staff was long, friendly and always eager to please.

  Coolest Hotel in Rome

  We stayed at the D O M for the 3 nights and must say it is one of the coolest hotels we've stayed in from. It's location is very central and all historic sites are within easy walking distance - in-fact the hotel itself is a converted monastery and Via Giulia is one of the most exclusive addresses in Rome boasting some great sites. Rooms are very plush with exclusive toiletries and art along with a well stocked mini-bar (a little pricey though). The bar is super cool (dark and smelly from their own candles which we bought some to take home) with bar staff creating some great cocktails pre going out and on our return. We didn't use the restaurant in the evening but we were served breakfast in the mornings with great coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit, pastries, bread, jam, etc all welcoming and replenished as and when requested. The reception staff were all fantastic and assisted with a surprise of friends arriving and advise on sites around Rome, restaurants and organising anything we needed. We will definitely stay here again if we visit Rome again - as a note yes there is a constructions site just down the road which starts to get noisy from about 8.00am but on a city break wasn't a problem as we were up and out anyway.

  Probably our favourite Hotel - so good

  We loved this hotel. Valeria on reception was amazing - so helpful and friendly. Thank you. All staff were great, breakfast exceeded our expectations - rooms were slick, cool, modern, clean, extremely comfortable and well furnished. Location is perfect - we are amazed at how close everything is for a 'non central location.' Everywhere is within walking distance. Seemingly more convenient than say a hotel near Termini. Thoroughly recommend this hotel - 5 stars.

  Good hotel in Rome

  Hotel located in quiet street via di Giulia which was great as there were not many noises in the night/ morning. We did not have any problem during our stay. Place was cosy, staff welcoming and accommodating. Enjoyed it! Gave 4 stars only bcs Room needs maintenance- you need partly repainting bcs of rooms heavy use them- especially in bathroom- it's not difficult to do; TV did not work for 2 days, keep loosing signal and room was not cleaned 2 per day for 2 days. (It's still a 5 * hotel). Rest was good and breakfast was good as well!

  Wow what a place

  After spending 5 weeks in Italy our last night was in Rome, we chose the Hotel based on some photos and reviews from fellow travelers. When we arrived down a quite little cobbled street I must admit I thought I've made a mistake and this was going to be like one of the very ordinary "B&B's" we had stayed in Florence. Once we walked inside it was a nice surprise, but nothing compared to our room, we got the room on the top floor the room is spread over 2 levels. It has a massive balcony, bathroom and walk in robe on the lower level and then a suite like room on the top level, it's modern sexy and super comfortable. We have stayed at some of "the best hotels in Italy" with the Park Hyatt in Milano being one of them, but this place leaves them all for dead.
