  El hotel queda lejos de alona beach, para llegar se necesita transporte privado. Tiene acceso directo a la playa pero es de rocas. Las habitaciones son tipo duplex/loft. Apenas estan decoradas y huelen muchisimo a humedad. Aunque la habitacion es correcta el baño necesita una reforma. La limpieza es buena, los jardines y la piscina estan bien cuidados. Hay recepcion las 24 h y servicio de vigilancia. Los desayunos son buenos.

  Una pequeña decepción

  Hemos pasado 2 noches en éste hotel, y aunque la primera impresión fué buena luego se fué estropeando... Las zonas comunes (piscina, restaurante...) muy bonitas y cuidadas. La habitación era muy grande, con dos plantas, pero el baño era minúsculo, sin apenas comodidad (el gel mínimo, sin secador, antiguo...) Tras la primera noche no nos cambiaron las toallas de manos, y no tuvimos durante todo el día siguiente. Lo mismo pasó para la piscina, no nos ofrecieron toallas para usar allí por lo que tuvimos que llevar las de la ducha (con la humedad es imposible qie se sequen) Al estar algo retirado de la carretera te ves obligado a pedir un triciclo cada vez qie quieres salir (150 pesos- 2,5 euros el trayecto) Al contrario que en la mayoria de los hoteles de Asia, nos cobraron las botellas de agua de la habitación. Son pequeños detalles que hacen que hacen que un hotel de este precio no merezca mas puntuación.

  Excellent value, food, service, location

  Here are some of the highlights you should know. - The staff here is excellent. They serve so well and care for customers. Everyone has a smile and friendly greeting. Especially Rodel and Albert at the bar. Stephanie the manager. King and Chris the dive masters. Wow! So impressive. Want lunch? Theyll bring it to your seat by the pool. - The front desk people were verity helpful in arranging things for us such as scooter rentals and transportation package to our next Philippine Island. (Oslob on Cebu) - the food was some of the best we had on the island during 6 days. Great quality, quantity and price. - King leads the dive crew and they take care of everything for you. Just enjoy your dives. - massage therapy is poolside and a great value and excellent quality. - the pictures match the actual setting more or less. Its lovely. - other than having the whole world to explore, Id book here again tomorrow. Things they could improve: - first day there was a demon baby screaming. Well dang, this is not adults only. What are you yo do except give them the harry eyeball. - they have exactly two lounge chairs around the pool and need many more. Things to know.... - there is a little beach but the water is nothing fun to play in unless you walk out maybe a hundred yards and then start swimming. Also, you cant really walk far either way. - the resort is down a dirt/mud country road maybe 1.5 KM off the main road. Not a big deal, and I think common for these type resorts.

  Dive Thru Stay during The New Year

  Panglao is now hustling and bustling with tourist with a multitude of large resorts and hotels right on Alona Beach but Dive Thru Resort was the perfect resort that was small and quiet yet centrally located enough to ensure your vacation was truly a vacation. Although not right on Alona beach, the staff made it easy and assisted with calling transportation whenever we needed. The room was just what we needed and just as with the rest of the facilities very clean! We also availed of the daily breakfast with, unlike all the other resorts, werent buffet style, but instead made to order with 2 choices each day with one always a Filipino dish that we are overlooking the water. I didnt have time to take advantage of their on site diving facilities but many of the other guests were doing just that. If I were to come back to Bohol for my diving cert, I would definitely choose this resort!

  Good starting point for visiting other places

  It is a good little resort if you dive or if you want to stay away from the crowd. It is also a good base for taking trips around Bohol. My wife and I were looking for that kind of accommodation and Dive Thru Scuba Resort met our expectations. The resort itself is very basic, but clean and quiet, with nice small pool. One cannot really swim in the sea... I mean you can, but ... The room is big, the bathroom is small; breakfast is good, people are nice and friendly. Yes, the road to the resort is terrible, but I noticed that it is a problem all around Philippines.
