  Spa broken, wrong advice given regarding fix. Didnt seem to care. Tiny garage attached to unit, could hardly fit our car in it. Small rooms. Other spa too cold to use. Out of town through industrial area so not good for access to Wanaka.

  Awesome second time

  This was our second stay at these apartments. As our Erie version the first time wasnt bad we decided to return. We had arrived late, but still on time to check in before 6:30. We were told the keys were in the apartment and milk 8n 5he fridge as 5hey thought we might not make it in time. The heat pump was left on to give us a warm reception, and 5he bonus was that we were upgraded from a one bedroom to a three bedroom. Though we didn5 need the extra rooms it was nice to have the two bathrooms. Housekeeping was kept to a minimum of just replenishing items and emptying out bins, which was all we needed. However a couple of days the bathroom items seemed to be missed. Luckily with the two bathrooms I got the items from the other bathroom. The place was immaculate, very modern, and amazing views of the mountains from a lovely balcony. Reception were ultra friendly and very informative. The WiFi wasnt the greatest, but we managed. It is a little away to the lake but still close enough. We thank the Distinction for an amazing stay for a very reasonable price.

  Great value, view and facilities

  We stayed 1 week in a 2 bedroom apartment with amazing views to the lake and mountains. The apartment was a good size and had everything we needed. It was close to the spa pool which we used every day also with views to the mountains. It's great value for money but I'd request an apartment at the front not too close to the pool if you want views and quiet.

  Awesome facility

  We stayed for two nights in a three bedroom house which was fully serviced. One cannot complain about any thing. Good views of lack and mountains from the house. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Suitable for a family members and if you would like to enjoy self cooking. On our return from Queens Town we stayed again for a night on our way back journey to Auckland. Close the to the Town center.

  Good spot to base a family in Wanaka

  We arrived around lunchtime and the staff were very helpful, allowing us to check in to our room early. The first apartment we were shown to was unfortunately quite run down and depressing. Id not have been happy to stay there for the amount we paid. Thankfully we were able to be moved and the second apartment, which appeared to be in a newer complex, was definitely better. The views from the deck were nice (glimpse of the lake) and the layout worked well for our family. The facilities were good - the washer and dryer helpful, and the heating / aircon was great. The kids really enjoyed the pool areas. Overall the accomodation wasnt quite as brilliant as Id expected based on the reviews, but it worked well for us and provided a good base with all the key things we needed as a family. The garage was too small to park the car in. The deck was lovely and a nice place to sit and have a drink on a sunny evening.
