    Magical stay!

We stayed here one night prior to our two night vacation package at the Miracosta and truth be told, I think I preferred this hotel to the Miracosta! The staff was very kind and went out of their way to provide exemplary service. While most of the staff we encountered spoke limited English, they were very patient with us. Decor: LOVE the decor throughout this hotel- it reminded me of the decor on the Disney Cruise ships. It feels upscale with a magical touch. Rooms: The luggage attendant brought our bags to our room and tried explaining everything in our room to us- he made a huge effort to communicate with us and was very kind. The room was great. Coming from a tiny hotel room in Shinjuku, this room felt HUGE! We had ample space to open and re-pack our suitcases. We had a large king bed and good storage space. There was also a Mickey-themed mirror/vanity area which was great! In all six hotels we stayed at while in Japan, this was the only hotel where I had a vanity area. Doing my hair/makeup in a Mickey mirror with good lighting and a seating area was such a great experience! The layout of the room was by FAR the best we had during our entire Japan stay. Great bathroom amenities and the Mickey slippers/pajamas are a fun touch. Our room was very quiet- you could hear a pin drop. Location: Since we took a transfer to the hotel, I can't speak to getting to the hotel but I believe it has a dedicated limousine bus stop (?). It would be a bit of a walk through the mall area from the train station - I would imagine this would be difficult with luggage. The hotel was convenient/quick walk to the Japanese version of Downtown Disney (which is nothing special, by the way- it's just a normal mall). We easily walked to Disneyland, although I believe the hotel offers efficient shuttle buses to the park. I can't speak to how this location compares to being right off of the monorail. Dining: We ate at Chef Mickey, but the hotel also seemed to offer an upscale restaurant, a nice bar/lounge area and some sort of retro cafe. We made our Chef Mickey reservation VERY early as tables seemed to fill up fast. While it was very expensive (and options are relatively limited COMPARED to the USA park counterparts) it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I recommend it! We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel and got Starbucks at the mall area instead. The Happy 15 benefit is a great perk as it allows you to skip the massive lines to get into the park. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel! The art deco decor, rooms, and service were second to none!

Great stay; could be even better with minor improvements

Phenomenally beautiful hotel with western sized rooms, this hotel also features some Japanese amenities as well. First of all, the showers are the standard Japanese shower rooms (the whole room can get wet!) and the water pressure and how much heat you can get is amazing. The toilets are Toto brand with all the standard Japanese buttons and options. There are complimentary toothbrushes and rinsing cups for children. The beds are large by Japanese standards but fairly hard/firm by Western standards. The air conditioning worked great. Service was amazing and spoke fluent English. Where is the 5th star? For a hotel thats more on the budget range of the Disney properties in Tokyo there were certainly no nearby budget food options save for the convenience store. (Frankly there arent many dining options here at all.) Also, its a significant (and somewhat confusing) walk from the Disney monorail to the hotel. I estimate its about a half mile walk and if you take the indoor path, theres not a clear cut way as not every elevator goes to every floor in the part of the building that leads to the lobby and is full of stores. This results in a poor guest experience.

    Not bad hotel but expensive...

Stayed here one night with wife and toddler. Rooms were average, but the main point of staying here is for the early entry to disneyland so that you can get the fastpasses while queuing. Room was decked out in disney characters and was very big. There is a convenience store and a disney store in the hotel so you can buy the items easily. Also do remember to book a Chef Michkey experience! Hotel Room: 4 Stars (Big room with twin beds and a bath tub) Room View: 3 Stars (View of the hotel) Service of Staff: 4 Stars (fast check in) Lounges/Restaurants: (NA) Room Service: (NA) Location: 4 Stars (Shuttle bus to disneyland and disneysea)

    Amazing view!

From Narita Airport, we took airport limousine at Bus Stop #12. Check-in was a breeze. Our room faces the swimming pool (was big but closed due to cold weather) and fireworks directly in front. The room was very big, my family of 4 has a room with 3 double-bed and a sofa bed. Service at the hotel is very good. The staff will approach you in advance when you are queuing. Beside hotel is Ikspiari (a shopping area with many resturants, Disney store, cinemas and food court). Hotel provide Disneyland and Disneysea bus. I like this Hotel location as we can easily get inexpensive food from the foodcourt.

Close to the parks and worth experiencing

We stayed here for 2 nights during our honeymoon as part of a vacation package at the Disney resort (HIGHLY recommend the package for various reasons). We chose this hotel because of the art deco theme. The lobby is very pretty and has an adorable little TV area for little kids. We were able to easily ship our luggage to and from the hotel, although some things got a little lost in communication, we ultimately had no issue. We liked our room, and it was quite spacious, but it was overall just "okay" largely because of the very small beds (which we expected). We did manage to fit both of us (my husband is 6'2) in one of the beds without too much difficulty, but they really are small. The toiletries they provide are quite cute, but in the Disney hotel style they are large multi-use containers so no taking them back with you. The reason this hotel was so special was the attentiveness of the staff at check in and at the lovely character breakfast at Chef Mickey. Our server was so funny and kind, and we literally had someone RUN after us down the hallway because we forgot to take the hotel-themed stickers she gave us! We also had a breakfast at Tick Tock one day which was a sandwhich consisting of potato salad and salsa(???) that was really strangely good. There is a convenience store on-site as well as a gift shop with Disney merch, and those were fun to peruse. We went at Christmastime and the Christmas decorations were very pretty, although we heard the same Christmas guitar loop over and over from our courtyard view room! Luckily it stopped around 10pm. Overall, we would stay here again.
