  Muy lindo hotel

  Todo estuvo genial, el lugar está en una buena zona, bien diagramado, con estacionamiento, wifi y varios servicios. Se puede reservar con desayuno incluido (completo y rico) y el restaurant también es lindo. Posee piscina. Lo recomiendo y volvería sin dudarlo!

  Very handylocation

  Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was small and a bit dated. Huge TV - a bit too big for room! Overall quite OK. Didn't use the onsite restaurant or bar but would be good when not wanting to venture out.

  Central to everything Staff were friendly and helpful

  Work trip and have stayed at other places in this capacity... really dated and was not really as clean as would have expected for the price..poky little rooms and mattress on bed was uncomfortable probably needs updating. Really dont mind the cost of paying for a room but this was not worth the price paid a cheaper price would of been acceptable however will be staying elsewhere next visit

  Disappointing stay

  While the location was alright, the room n bathroom were not only small, dated and smelt musty. The bathroom sink was Super small that water splashed onto the floor even when washing hands. Shower cubicle was slippery. Bed Was covered with a bed spread and duvet inner. It was also bouncy indicating that some springs were loose or out of alignment. Tv didnt work and both heater and bathroom lights were groaning making sleep difficult.

  Cancelled booking without warning and notification - left us stranded at 10.30pm

  I get to Whangarei at 930pm after trip from Auckland. Reception was closed which I knew, I told them Id be there between 9.30pm - 10.30pm and they said security would give my room key etc. When I arrived, there was a note from Settlers saying they have canceled my accommodation because my card number id used there 5 years ago had changed#!!!*# Ive never booked in the last 5 years with the card I always paid cash when I left! I didnt even know it was still in their system as Id never been questioned about it. Im a frequent guest (stayed 2 weeks prior, 3 weeks before that after booking over the phone) without using my card to book!?! Yet it was perfectly fine and my bookings over the phone were always accepted. I explained to security that we had nowhere to go and finding alternative accommodation at 10.30pm was unrealistic. He said they were full and that was that. What I dont understand was that Id booked 4 days in advance for the whole weekend and I didnt get 1 single courtesy phone call letting me know there was trouble with the card (that I had replaced) or asking me for clarity around why the card registered under my name was no longer working. They just cancelled the booking with no warning. So we are driving around now at 1130pm looking for a damn hotel and theyre either fully booked or arent answering the phone (who would at this time of night!?!). Ive always supported this hotel, in-fact my work in Auckland and family are frequent users because of my referral. Im so disappointed and we are sleeping in the car Definitely time to look for a new hotel for me, my family and workplace.
