  The cabin was lovely and clean (except for a few drawers. The staff had turned aircon on for our arrival, which was wonderful as it was a hot day. However the pool was not good at all. Appeared dirty and wouldnt allow children to put their heads under water.

  Handy location, but not much more

  Cabins are comfortable inside. They are placed very close together, so noise from other cars, cabins, pedestrians etc could be an issue. Our cabin had ants in the kitchen and ensuite, so we had to make sure not to leave any traces of food around. Despite our best efforts, the kitchen and ensuite bathroom were infested the whole time. We had made a request that our cabin have good access to easy parking that could accomodate a trailer as we were travelling a great distance for our holiday. Unfortunately, our request was not heeded and while there several better options available at the time of our stay, we were allocated a cabin that was completely inappropriate for our needs, resulting in damage to our vehicle when we tried to park our trailer. Picture high density cabin living where you have to let passengers out of the car before parking as the spaces are small. Inside the cabin, the layout meant that there were no comfortable spaces in which to sit. The TV was small and mounted at the same height as an air conditioner, which meant that you had to crane your neck to look at it. The pool is clearly original to the caravan park, which has now doubled in size. This results in the area being over crowded with any more than 1 - 2 families using the area at a time. The map of the park indicated that there was a Recreational room. This turned out to be a room with tables to sit at. We extended our stay by an one night to ensure we could do eerything we needed in Perth. We then received a text message offering a 50% discount to extend our stay. I asked for this to be applied to our stay, as we had extended, but this was refused. If you are looking for a place to lay your head for the night this is a suitable option, but you will not get any of the conveniences or family friendly options usally extended to guests at caravan parks.

  If they had 6 stars!!

  On very short notice we booked in and received an upgrade. The staff could not be nicer, so welcoming. Cabin very tidy and grounds clean. Id stay again, great for families with lots to do on site and nearby, great location

  Good clean and comfortable

  Having to evacuate because of a bushfire, we had our pets with us, we were able to book into a cabin at this park at very short notice. The staff we dealt with were professional and compassionate, the cabin was very clean, with a comfortable bed. The cabin contained everything that we required. I highly recommend stay here, if we need to evacuate again we will return

  Camping in tent at Discovery Park, Swan Valley

  Nice site on the edge of the Swan Valley with plenty of wineries in close proximity. Friendly staff. Nice little pool area. Bad points, Close to noisey road No WIFI for campers Low fence close to public road, not too secure. So lock up. Dont let the bad points put you off. Worth a visit.
