  Excellent and well presented cabin accommodation in a caravan park

  Stayed for 2 nights in a very well presented and appointed lake view cabin. Reception was excellent with clear information given. For the modern era a good number of USB ports along with power points. Even with the lake level very low it was still a stunning place to stay.

  One night was too short a stay

  Stayed on Wednesday 5th February for one night in a Deluxe 2 bedroom cabin sleeps 5. The cabin was great value and well looked after/maintained as were the park facilities. Friendly staff, its just a pity we could only stay one night. Next time we will book for a longer break and make sure we get a lakeside cabin as well.

  Get a cabin with View

  Stayed for a long weekend, escaping regional south for rural north. Online chose a Deluxe cabin (4 beds). Unfortunately when arrived found the cabin location in park as strange, between permanent cabins, well away from the lake and with our front porch facing a big imposing bush. Initial disappointment then compounded as discovered food remnants on a few dishes/bowls and smudged glasses. First job was sullen dishwashing (hiding from my wifes glare & rant). Ironic hygiene chore given COVID-safe hand sanitiser and strict protocol list included in welcome pack. Pool facility is stunning and the park well kept. Photo indeed proves the wonderful design and beautiful natural outlook. We wont return - told Im not choosing the next short break. Recommend if book here to specifically request a cabin with views (ignore bed counts etc.) of Lake Hume or adjacent to the pool area.

  Summer Holiday

  Theres a few things to consider if coming here. First, keep trying to call through to reservations as the answering machine is never called back if you leave a message. If you do need any issues addressed call and discuss then reconfirm later so you dont get a I can see the note but its not been actioned .. when you arrive. Office bookings and staff are a bit all over the shop especially with site allocations etc - again double and triple check before coming what you think the plan is. Also , its a cabin park mainly ,with only a few powered sites at the outer edge. Be warned if staying at powered / unpowered staying here, its within stones throw of the Murray valley highway with a lot of heavy trucks passing 24/7. Toilets ,especially mens ,are only serviced once a day (am) so go at your peril anytime after morning and avoid anytime in the evening .If youre a family , ask for the family bathroom key . If you stay in powered or unpowered site at the road end , the amenities etc are a bit of a walk and the pool etc is about a 5-10 min walk to the good end of the park. Cars , says one only per site , but with the lake down on level or boom gate always up ,most sites around have multiple cars and trailers so the roadways can be very busy walking around with kids. It can at times have a feel of random cars driving through the park from the lakeside end after they cross over from the public boat ramp. Overall has great points but needs a few key areas addressed to see its full potential 3 stars from @binchickenexpress

  A beautiful well maintained park with excellent amenities

  My family (2 adults, 2 children, 3 and 10months) recently had a 2 night stay on a powered ensuite site here and we were blown away by how immaculate and well maintained the park was. It was so green and lush and had a tropical vibe to it. We wondered how they were able to keep it looking so great. We also think it has some of the best amenities of some of the parks we have stayed at. It had an excellent camp kitchen, with dishwashing liquid, cloths/scourers and tea towels supplied which was awesome and plenty of seating - we didn't get out our cooking equipment and used this it was that handy to our camp site. Awesome tennis court. Great bouncing pillow (except it was down due to the heavy rain experienced on our first day there) and wonderful pool. Great little playground and built in trampoline near the pool as well. The pool was amazing and fantastic for young children with the large shallow area for them to splash around in and the great chairs, umbrellas and tropical feel with the palms, plenty of shade. The staff were friendly and helpful - we booked an extra site at short notice and they were very accommodating and it wasn't too much trouble. If I had to pick on anything and this is very minor as it served our family well - the ensuites are slightly dated and it would be good if the window could open to allow air in as it was super humid due to large rain event. The only other thing I would say as I experienced a family having issues starting the bbq - so perhaps laminated simple instructions for people to read close to bbq, same goes for the oven/stove, we had a few issues working out the oven, once we got it going though it was great.
