  Good sday

  Stayed for 3 nights in a deluxe cabin, good value for what you get in the cabin. Easy check in, nice to have own safe parking spot. Was very comfy cabin, good shower, liked that there was an oven as well as stove top, good size fridge. Park facilities were quite decent, camp kitchen and bbq area was spotless and well equipped but didnt use ourselves. Pool was nice to have a play our child loved it everyday no matter what lol.. Park is situated in a good area, awesome playground by the lake not far away was handy and beach just as close. Would stay again.

  Budget style motel room

  We like staying here when we come to Warrnambool. Due to last minute booking we were able to get a motel room which had a separate large room for the kids. Theres no deck so its a little cozy. We saw other families put up a marquee out the front and instead park their car outside the caravan park. We recommend that if you want an outdoor area. The bed was comfy, but bring your own pillows if you like to watch tv in bed. Your neck might get sore. The dvd, tv and stove worked well. Bring a chopping board if you dont like glass chopping boards. The shower was hot and strong pressure. It is small and has a mini bath as the base. The fridge in room 74 is missing door shelving parts so check the fridge before buying your groceries for the trip. The carpet near the tiles in the living room had exposed staples so best to wear shoes when you walk around. The pool was great and used daily by us all. Can be cool sometimes. Very quiet in the morning and late evening. Shuts at dusk and opens at 9am. The games room was open and the kids enjoyed it. We found the other campers really respectful at night. Great friendly campers everywhere. The playground was used by our kids and they enjoyed it.

  Should have free camped on side of road

  Terrible caravan park for larger vans. Virtually impossible to move through this caravan park with a caravan. Couldnt set up awning, chairs at site. Open van door straight onto neighbours tent. $150 for one night. Very stressful

  Pathetic Booking Experience

  had a very bad experience in Booking at Warranambol Discovery Park. I wanted a slight change the booking date made for Feb. Instead of 2 nights that I booked, I needed only 1 Night. But without even checking with me the team sends me a cancellation date. I have never asked for a cancellation. Interesting thing is that, I had a call with the Warrnambol office of discovery park a day before and on the call they agreed to cancel one day and retain the other. But today to my surprise, I am getting an email mentioning that 2nd night is also cancelled.. Who has asked for the cancellation ? I am totally fed up with this kind of customer service. The website doesn't even offer an option to reschedule on your own, it just ask you to fill a form and submit. I had done that, hoping they will contact me ask the details and what I require...But they just send a cancellation email without any details. There is no contact number on the website, for that you need to google and get the number. No contact email as well.. Now the interesting part is that credit is applied to your account. Which account ? I have never created any account and I dont see any option in their website to see the credit as well... Really Pathetic service. This was my Kids Birthday that we wanted to celebrate in the park and had all plans ready for the same; but now, what will we say to them ?

  They left us with no accommodation and refuse to talk to us.

  We booked a month in advance for our family. When the one week lockdown occurred in February 2021, they called us saying that they had to cancel everyone's bookings during that week. We understood the situation and I said to re-book one week later, which they said they did. We arrived at the reception in the late afternoon and was told that both the original reservation and the re-booked reservation had been cancelled They also said that they were now full and had no room for us. We have a special needs child, so we can't stay in a random motel, it needs to be a park like this, which is why we booked there in the first place. We ended up at a different accommodation which was not suitable for us. The worst part? I asked the staff at reception to follow this up immediately. He said he would and he would cc me on the email. He did not do so. I then went directly to the contact email on the discovery parks website. Twice. Still no reply at all. This is disgusting and Discovery Parks should be embarrassed, but it seems they are not.
