Nice and quietThe park is quite and well maintained. Cabin is clean and fully equipped with everything you need. Beds are comfortable and air con for those hot days. The pool is awesome kids loved it. Only thing that was missing at the pool was a bbq. But there is others on the grounds.

Friendly but rundownReception staff were absolutely wonderful and friendly. However our cabin was very dusty as the cleaning card said it was cleaned more than a week before. The cabin was very old but functional. Tiled area just inside was very slippery as it was pouring with rain outside. Nice quiet location away from the centre of town.

Abandoned Ghost TownBooked here as always wanted to stay in an A Frame Cabin as they look cool. All I can say is this place needs to be condemned if it hasn't been already. The ladder into the Mezzanine of the A Frame was pushed up. We pulled it down to investigate and went up. Hadn't been used in ages, discarded furniture, clothes and dust. Window in the mezzanine was taped over badly. Hairdryer and electric stove mentioned on the website aren't there. When the air con was on the dust from the mezzanine was disturbed. We were checking in at 3pm but got a message to say as we were arriving after they were closed the key would be in the safe. BBQ in the middle of the cabins had beer bottles scattered around. This place is an abandoned ghost town. I called the after hours number. The lady who came to help was superb and helpful and called the manager to get us moved to the Goldfields site. Both confirmed that this site was a Ghost Town only used by workers occassionally. I'd probably put up with it if I was working on the mines but not for a few days leave in Kalgoorlie. If you are a tourist do not stay here. See my review of the Goldfields site for a better option. I have no doubt this place will close sooner or later.

ShockingI booked a powered grassed site for my camper trailer here in August. Confirmed with email from the park. I rang 2 days prior to our stay to re-confirm. Sarah needed to be reminded (politely) that we required a grassed site. She was able to confirm this. We arrived at the park, received our key pack & proceeded to the designated site. Nothing but bitumen/concrete. I went back to the office, Sarah chose a grass site for us. I went to this site -no power! I went back to the office again & asked for my money back. This is completely unacceptable considering I booked this place 2 months ahead. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Powered SiteThis was a really well appointed park. Superior to the other couple we looked at in the area. Great staff and superior facilities. Great camp kitchen, and Laundry with a fair bit of grass and clothes lines. Worth booking if you are passing through.
