Lovely family run accommodation - great value great location

Having ambled through the streets from the station I was very pleasantly surprised on arrival at Dimora Vicolo Corto. The gates were locked and I had to telephone them to let them know we had arrived but they were there within a minute to check us in. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Seemed to be quite new. We had three rooms in our own wing. Breakfast was simple as with many places in Italy. If you expect to be waited on this may not be for you. Rooms were not cleaned during our 4 day stay but I was quite happy to be left in peace without the usual disturbance from hotel maids etc. Very friendly family. Would recommend to anyone looking for cheap, clean accommodation in a great location in Lecce.

    Fabulous accomodation in brilliant location

Tucked away down a little side street this B&B is a rare find. Beautifully restored tastfully decorated and very clean. Owners could be alittle more savvy with hospitality. Although very pleasant the card machine was not working and we were expected to make several trips back duringour one day stay to pay, due to owners notgetting up half an hou earlier we would miss breakfast and after all the inonvenience and a substitute meal of cakes in wrappers they did not reduce room rate. Offered to take us to bus teminal morning which sealed the deal on the room when we viewed and was a great gesture but when we went o pay and they found out the time to leave 7 o clock they said it was too early and we would need to get a taxi! Rooms were not full and easily could have said have the more expensive room for standard rate after all this e.g 90 instead of 100 euros. Still great facilties even if the hoteliers rather inexperienced, highly recommend but take cash.

    Great Accomodations

This is a beautiful renovated tourist residence. We recently spent 4 nights at this lovely spot. We were a group of 15 and all accommodations were excellent. Some rooms had 2 bedrooms and a small kitchen and some were just a room. We were lucky enough to have a sitting room and a beautiful terrace. We were provided with an substantial breakfast - yogurt, fruit, ham, cheese, buns, fresh pastries and wonderful coffee, although I don't think they usually provide it.. The location was perfect - a few minutes walk to all old Lecce has to offer. Only complaint was that WiFi was spotty, sometime we could get reception on the terrace but usually we had to go down to the reception. This is not a true B&B as the owners do not live on site and are not usually available except at breakfast or by phone. However, the gates were locked and we always felt safe. There is a wonderful rooftop terrace and although the website shows it with plants and furniture, we found that it had not been set up for the nice weather, rather dirty and all the furniture put away.

    Nice place, I'll come back

The building is behind the famous Piazza Oronzo, the city center where the night life and the all the monuments are reachable via a nice walk. We stayed there for one night only, unfortunately, but we had a very good time: silent, cleaned and huge room. Also the breakfast was fine.

    Wonderful location, very hospitable...

Tonio, his wife and family were very accommodating. Fantastic location. Beautifully decorated and restored rooms. Very Clean. Great resource for local restaurants and things to do. Tonio arranged a tour for our group to Ostuni with a beautiful seaside dinner which was very memorable. Outdoor furniture on the terrace would have been nice in May and a better pillow. Breakfast was good and had a reasonable selection. Overall very good and I will return as I travel to Lecce occasionally.
