  Helpful Staff at Charming Hotel

  The folks woking at the desk were very accommodating and helpful. We had a tight schedule to keep and needed to connect through numerous locations and the staff made phone calls on our behalf since we didn't speak Italian. Next time, we will make sure we spend many more days in Lucca as the town is charming and so is everyone at Dimora Dei Guelfi.

  amazing facility great location good service

  This facility is located extremely well so you can walk through the entire old area of town. The service from the staff is superb and the rooms were extremely nice for a B&B. It is a charming place that I would revisit anytime.

  Romantic B&B in historical center of beautiful Lucca

  Romantic B&B. Clean rooms in excellent location, right in the historical center of Lucca in Tuscany. Walking distance to Piazza dell'Anfiteatro (Amphitheater, highly recommended for dinner and / or breakfast and city walls (highly recommended for tranquil walk in evening or morning), great hosts with high and personal service level.

  Lovely accommodation in a great area

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 3 days in this establishment - the owners Simone and Claudia went out of our way to help us - even parking our car at the garage which was a bit of a walk away. The room was spacious and clean with tea/coffee making facilities and a bar fridge, tv and our room faced the street and was light and airy. The shower is huge and the bathroom had all toiletries provided. Our only complaint was that the air conditioner was ineffective- we had to open the window at night to escape the heat and this made for early morning noise as people moved around the street.

  If Location is the key then Dimora dei Guelfi is a winner

  If Location is the key then Dimora dei Guelfi is a winner - right in the biz of Lucca and easy to get between the centre touristy part of the amphitheatre and the less touristy but really more for the locals at San Francesco. . . . I would love to give this place a 5* rating but as there was not a fridge nor a safety deposit box I can only give it 4.5*. Loved the flexibility and freedom of the card and key entry and as a wee added bonus our room had a small garden area/terrace - No breakfast was not a problem as there are many lovely café/bars really close by ! Will I go back = Yes ! Will I be recommending to family and Friends = Yes ! See you soon Dimora dei Guelfi · As I said a safety deposit box and a fridge and it would have to get 5*
