  Me encanto

  Personal muy amable incluso, casualidad que una de las recepcionistas hablaba un poquito de espaöol. Las habitaciones muy amplias, luminosas y limpias. Ninguna queja, El desayuno buffet, bastante variado y estaba todo rico, te preparaban lo que quisieras. Por fuera tipica construccion de la Selva Negra, me gusto, si vuelvo a esta zona volvere.

  Hidden gem of a hotel

  Friendly at reception, spacious room, clean, food wine and beer were great. Breakfast was top notch. Plenty of off road parking. I would highly recommend this hotel my only moan would be that there was no air con in our room but fans were available.

  Very nice and convenient hotel

  In the off season we had plenty of parking and a very short walk to the pedestrian shopping area. A great base to use to explore the Black Forest and the Baden Baden wine area. Some might want to explore Colmar France from here as a day trip. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent and provided fresh scrambled eggs if requested. A true gem of a hotel.

  Wonderful two night stay - really loved the four poster beds

  Our family party had pre-booked two nights at this hotel to use as a base for exploring the Black Forest. We arrived one Friday evening and parked in the extensive, free car park at the back of the property. Check in was done in the main part of the hotel - our rooms were located in the adjoining building. We had two, spacious rooms on the first floor next to each other - they were both identically furnished with traditional, dark wood, four poster double beds and lovely balcony overlooking the garden. The separate bathroom was nicely tiled with the shower set up in the bath tub. The free WiFi worked well but I missed tea/coffee making facilities and any bottles of mineral water. We took dinner in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed the culinaary experience. The breakfast buffet was also good with lots of choice including many local delicacies. Service was impeccable thoughout our stay.

  2 Rooms Beautiful

  Four of us were car touring the Black Forest (dont miss Kloster) and checked in here one night. Its a pleasant place to stay. Quiet, very comfortable rooms, and excellent dining. I woke early and walked around a bit, reading posters for a circus and festivals- lots going on here. Dont miss the master mask-makers shop.
