  Ideal budget hotel in Taipei

  I stayed here for 4 nights. The location is excellent, just 1 min walk from Exit 6 of the Ximen MRT station. The rooms are larger than other hotels in the same price range. The hotel can improve on: (1) signage. The hotel is located on the 5th floor and there is only a small signage on the 1st floor which is hardly noticeable. (2) the reception area is somewhat messy. Some tidying up is necessary.

  Pleasant stay

  The location is very accessible, it's near the Ximending Night Market, Ximen station and Taipei Main Station. Staff was really helpful and friendly. The room we got was clean, big and sheets were nice and bed was comfy. The bathroom was also clean, they already have soap and shampoo and they have hot water. There were restaurants and convenience store around so it's easy to just go out and get something to eat when you get hungry in the middle of the night.

  First and last time

  As the title suggested. Room is small and cramped. There is a small tv and a bathroom but it didnt give me a feeling the place is clean. Entrance is via is an old smelly lift. Consolation is that it a right next to XiMenDing.

  Convenient to everywhere

  Extremely good location. Ximen MRT Exit 6 is just a few steps away. Plenty to eat and shop in the area, Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent coffee from machine at front desk area with free luggage storage.

  Location

  The only reason i booked it was the location, right outside exit 6 from ximen station so you are right in the action area and one Station away from airport metro , the room is clean. There is no water bottles but you can refill yours in the reception, there was no soap but shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom, no shower curtains. The bed is hard and isn't comfortable.
