  Fantastic island, poor hotel

  Some people say all you need from a hotel is a bed, a shower and a nice breakfast. And yes, this place provides all of the above, so if you like a bed that is not being cleaned, turned down or tidied, a misfunctioning shower that is dirty and in a bathroom thats not being cleaned or given new towels, then this is your spot. The breakfast is OK, though, so if you feel rolls with ham and cheese justifies the 130 a night price, then you can go ahead and book. If you however, like me, believe that a hotel should provide slightly more than this, then there are plenty of other options on the beautiful island of Martinique. If you have to stay-in one day, do not expect that you can buy any food, coffee or even a bottle of water - the service is so poor that even on the most quiet of days, staff wont bother to go pick up a bottle of water from the fridge. Not to speak about th straining job of ordering a taxi for you - what most hotels consider service ABC is here unthinkable. The hotel is located at a fantastic place, it has great views and most of the ingredients to create a great stay. It´Its just a shame that a poor attitude and a lack of respect for their guest´s money creates a result that is so bad that we were actually quite happy when denied a late check-out as it meant we could get out of there sooner rather than later.

  Great Ocean View Property

  Beautiful view of the Diamond Rock and island hills. The important qualities like hot water, comfortable beds, large buffet breakfast are covered. The pool was great but over 100 steps straight down to get there. I took the golf cart path for the return trip up the hill. Negatives are the worn condition of the shower and outdoor kitchen cabinets.

  Genial

  Muy familiar tiene todo para pasar bien! Me encanto la cocina que da la opción de cocinar y estar como en casa! El tobogán para los niños es genial ! Solo que el inglés es escaso y no hablo francés igualmente pasamos bien!

  No wifi!! And...

  So! First i learn samething in Martinique: this is residence hotel and not classic hotel. Its mean : no cleaning just on 5. days and no towels change just on 3. days. The hotel is old and need renovation. The view is great! The bed is hard. Have good hot water. And no wifi in room. Just lobby area!

  Cool place

  A nice hotel at diamant. We stayed for 1 week,the view is amazing,rooms were okay. The only negative is that you have to walk a lot of stairs down to reach your room and if you heavy luggage this is a problem.
