  Friendly helpfull staff, restaurant too slow

  Staff was really helpful finding us a trip to Bromo. Almost everything was fully booked, because we arrived late and booked only 1 night. But after several calls he found something. The rooms are ok, but not spectacular. My room got the problem, that the door didn't fit, as a result all kind of dust and other stuff entered the room. So the room gets dirty every time. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and the food is tasty.... BUT... It takes ages to get something out of the kitchen, although there were only 3 tables occupied and the kitchen was fully staffed. The brocolli which we ordererd directly, came with the dessert, the extra fries came, when we were finished. (But they were billed) Also there is a very nice rooftop garden. The location of the hotel is in a residential area, quite far from the center, but the location is ok for going to bromo.

  Paradise garden in the city

  The staff, restaurant and guesthouse are a great example of retaining charm and beauty in a city surrounding. The rooms are spacious, very modern, have all the facilities you would need and are very well maintained and cleaned expertly every day. The restaurant serves a truly astounding selection of smoothies, iced coffees and teas (try the 'Cookies' iced coffee or the lychee 'fruity island') along with a great range of indonesian, pan-asian and western cuisine. All is expertly prepared by very talented chefs and served with the most friendly attitude by constantly smiling helpful staff. The real gem is the roof garden, which is a grassy area with small palm trees and a gazebo for just relaxing and enjoying an incredible view of the sun setting over distant volcanos. See photo. It's very easy to book a trip to Bromo from here too. We paid 1.2 million for 2 people with a very friendly chap called Pomo who's English is very very good and he works just one street away.   nice design

  I stayed here during my short visit to Malang last month. the room was good and clean, the staff are also very helpfull. and the breakfast was okay. the location is also easy to find and it's really strategic since you can find everything near to this guesthouse.

  Nice guesthouse with beautiful roof garden

  Bedroom and bathroom were clean. Room space was big enough and interior was pretty with that price range, not plain like other budget hotel. They have beautiful roof garden with beautiful city view. The surrounding was quiet because it is located in residential area so I can sleep well. Please be noted not all bathroom have air ventilation.

  Very Dissapointed

  I booked via agoda and all of my additional request is not submitted to the receptionist. I spent 2 nights here but no one made up my room. Then, the water heater sucks same as the wifi connection. I didn't recommend this guest house at all.
