  Great classic NH - perfect get away.

  We had a wonderful time staying at Dexters. John the manager was fantastic. We had five adults and three children and there was plenty for all of us to do to stay happy and active. The sheets and towels were excellent. The grounds are unbelievable. It is ClassSick New Hampshire without having to rent a house or lift a finger.

  Great ski weekend

  The Inn was lovely, felt very much at home. The owner and his staff were very friendly. Cross country trails were well maintained and clearly marked. Our room was very comfortable. We look forward to going back next year! My favorite thing was the two stone wood burning fireplaces in the common areas.

  Wonderful wedding weekend

  My daughter and her husband got married at Dexters 2 weeks ago. They wanted a casual, Mountain View setting that could meet our budget and accommodate family and Dexters was a perfect fit. We postponed twice, due to COVID. We were able to meet via Zoom with John, the innkeeper and Rolf, the in-house caterer, making adjustments to keep people safe. It worked out beautifully. We had a casual rehearsal dinner on Friday and a lovely barbecue buffet on their wedding day. John assisted with the rehearsal and the processional on their wedding day and with moving guests to and from the ceremony location, the cocktail hour and the reception tent. There are multiple locations in the property for beautiful wedding photos, Our guests loved the rural ambience and the mountain views. Because we had the venue or the weekend, we got to spend extra time with family and friends. BYOB allowed us to stay under budget!

  I highly recommend!

  I stayed at Dexter's Inn while doing the Lake Sunapee Triathlon in September. John, the Innkeeper, was attentive, available to us, and very helpful. The Inn is impeccably maintained; the rooms are extremely comfortable; and the bathrooms are modern and clean. The Inn is beautiful and is set in a picture perfect location, very close to the Mount Sunapee Ski Area and Sunapee State Park. Breakfast included many options and was excellent. I highly recommend!

  I stayed at Dexter's Inn last weekend while in the area to compete in the Lake Sunapee Triathlon. John, the Innkeeper, was extremely helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable about the nearby area and New Hampshire in general. The Inn is beautiful, classically old, impeccably maintained, quiet and peaceful, and in a location with remarkable views! Every inch of the Inn is clean; the rooms are comfortable; and the bathrooms are updated and have all of the amenities. Breakfast was awesome and included many choices. Hiking/skiing trails; aset on a stunning country road; tenntis courts and a pool; a lovely outdoor patio and comfortable, indoor common areas- I highly recommend!
