    Villa !Ruidos!

Wonderful hospitality. Excellent staff. Cosy rooms. Exquisite ambience.

Me and my wife visited Bali in October and were a little apprehensive as we landed into Bali at wee hours of the morning and weren't sure of the reception we would get. But after meeting Komang we were immediately allayed of all our fears. He made us comfortable and showed us into our lodgings which was a cute 1 bedroom villa with a pool. It was squeaky clean and we were never bothered about cleanliness during our five day stay at the villa. The beds were made everyday and all towels were clean. Though there was TV in both rooms we didn't have the time to watch. We were also a given a little kitchen if we wanted to make something or prepare some tea. Welcome drink was good and the choice of breakfast was satisfactory and I being a non-vegetarian was little more comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and always greeted with smile on their faces. I specially would also like to mention Dewa, who had been of excellent service to us and was helpful in all instances. The local driver know the place well and we had no problem in reaching the villa at 2am in the morning. The only downside would be the location if I have to name one but at least for me it was peaceful. I would strongly recommend Desa di Bali to everyone travelling to Bali.

Beautiful place with the utmost privacy, perfect for family and couples

Me and my husband arrived in the first week of January. It's great because it's the low season and the accommodations price are reasonably lower. We are greeted by their sweet and helpful FO, Sari. All of the staff has been very nice and helpful as well. The room we had has a private pool and semi-outdoor bathtub. The interior of the villa is a little modern but has little touches of Balinese culture. They are also renting out motorbikes for only $6 that is perfect for going around and exploring Bali! We are definitely coming back to this place :)

    Our Stay was alright

The reception was too far and a long walk from our villa which was located at the entrance. The villa itself was ok. Nothing there that would wow'd you out. It has a huge bedroom with a big bed and a tv. It has a small living room and a kitchen which was good. I was able to cook our lunch and dinner. The bathroom was alright but could use a little bit more cleaning in the shower area. The bathtub was filthy, seems like nobody clean and use it for a year. The plants dried leaves beside are just dangling into the tub. It was a good indication that has never been cleaned for a while. That was the reason I booked the villa with a tub so I can use it. I never call the front desk to have it cleaned since we just stayed there for one night. I think it would be helpful if they can put a level on the shampoo, body wash and conditioner. They have it bottles as they are into saving the environment. No more one use plastics. That I can understand not having it. But please put a level which one is which so guest know what is in the bottles. I did not use any of them. I don't feel like calling the front desk to have them identify which is the shampoo etc. The breakfast was ok . The room service was also good and prices are reasonable. I would NOT consider this place with utmost privacy. We were napping in the afternoon and was awaken with a noise that someone was opening the sliding door from our bedroom. When I looked at the door, the cleaning guy opened the door to our bedroom without ringing the door bell or knocking to let us know he was coming in. I was frantic at first until he introduce himself as the cleaning guy. There is a gate outside the villa but you can't lock it from the inside. The hotel people can open it anytime just like what the guy did when we were sleeping, there is no signage available to let them know not to disturb you. Also, our villa has a private pool but it looks dirty to me. Lots of residue at the bottom from falling leaves and flowers that rots at the bottom of the pool. It doesn't looks inviting to me. Our villa was at the entrance next to the street. It was pretty noisy.
