  Mejor casi imposible

  Un hotel que supera todas las expectativas. Una atención exquisita (Thomas y su mujer nos hicieron sentir como en casa). La comida es abundante y rica, es un hotel generoso con sus clientes, con muchas instalaciones y muy bien situado. Incluso el parking (11) tiene un precio más que razonable. Lo único que mejoraría serían las camas, que no son cómodas del todo. Pero todo lo demás perfecto. Volveremos sin dudarlo.

  Excellent Stay

  Warm welcome from reception staff, excellent service from the waiters Dario, Amanda, Jozef - didn't catch the name of the waiter who spoke several languages- and, Barman Jonnie, All very attentive, conversational, and made us feel very at home and relaxed. Great selection of food at breakfast and dinner. Excellent Spa facilities, including the heated outdoor pool Right next to 7b Ski run, so almost ski in/ski out, if you know where to get off. The free ski bus stops just below the hotel, which makes access to the main ski lifts easy.

  Terrible

  This hotel is totally underwhelming. The rooms are poorly set up, the bathrooms inadequate and clad with a stale, old urine smell. The food is under par - they still think vegetarians are ok with boiled tinned vegetables and tinned salad. The service is brusque and severe. Resort is fantastic for family ski fun but this hotel should be avoided.

  Very nice pkace for alpine holidays

  I can only recommand this place. We stayed at new part of the building in family room but entire hotel is very nice. The place is ideally located for whatever adventure you want to go for from hiking, biking or exploring the lake area.

  A very enjoyable stay.

  We received a friendly welcome from the Reception staff on our arrival. We were informed of all the facilities at the hotel and given advice on skiing lessons. The hotel can book your ski lessons and arrange for a ski lift pass. We were given directions on where to pick up our reserved skis etc from. Information on the local bus which stops a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. I think the hotel is nicely placed not too far from the slopes and just a short walk to a ski lift and town. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble. You can also ski back to the hotel from the slopes as a blue run goes past the back of the hotel. A nice touch was our own locker to secure our skis etc located in the building across the road (which can also be reached via a internal walkway under the road) and our own table reserved for breakfast and dinner. There was a good selection of food at the breakfast and dinner buffet of good quality and tasty. In the afternoon there was an Apres ski of soup, bread, selection of meats and cakes. The waiters were attentive and friendly. A sheet on your table giving you information on forthcoming events, weather, menu for the day etc. Our room was clean with a fantastic view where we could watch skiers passing by. At the end of a day skiing you can use the indoor or outdoor pool, gym, spa etc. A big thank you to all the staff for making our first skiing holiday a memorable one and given the opportunity we will not hesitate to stay at Hotel Der Waldhof again.
