  Beautiful Location

  Its really 3 and half not a whole 4. This hotel is like 40 minutes away from Salzburg. Its in a small town surrounded by beautiful mountains. Its a short 30 minute drive to Hallstatt. Our family is in a tour with a group and breakfast included. Breakfast had a nice selection. Maybe its because we were in a group but i found the staff a bit rude. Nevertheless its a no frills type of hotel. We had a triple and our room was a good size. Bathroom was also spacious and nicely modern. But no WiFi in room. Thats not good. Overall the location of the hotel was the best part.

  Worst hotel and owner ever seen

  We were a family with kids and he had the worst treatment ever seen at any hotel. The owner is not friendly, one might say even evil; the food is limited as options are 1 or 2 the most; facilities are not existent; and photos can not be compre with the reality seen in the hotel. We strongly Do NOT recomend this hotel to any kind of traveler; should be avoid if you do not want to distroy your vacation.

  Worst treatment ever

  NOT RECOMMEND for anyone. We travel with kids. Also they said it is a family hotel, that is why we choose IT, but it is not. They offer services on their site... but when you arrive here, you don't get more. -First evening: "I am the boss and I do what I want". -wellness area, open until 7pm...so... if you ski(on winter)... have no time to relax there, jacuzzi :not working -they count the napkins from the table:once, i dare to ask for extra napkins...and they told me:"you have on the table" and I told them that I need more than one , and the answer was "NOT enough? You need 5?" Reception: when arrive.... we didn't get any information about the accomodation or the amentities they offer... I realised later....that we have to be glad to have a room!!! -they hate tourists with kids especially -for the all inclusive tourists.... they offer between 11.30 and 12.30 a soup.... but it is a must to tell them at the breakfast Breakfast :same every day Dinner:between 18.30 and 20. All inclusive drinks are offer only if you are lucky the waitress to see you...And when you finally ordered.... she look at you and say:"That is all???"... and if you dare to ask her to come again....and remember her that she forget to bring you that little beer.... she tries to ignore first...and always bring part of what you ordered -after dinner you only can stay at the bar...you have nothing to do in the hotel

  Poor restaurant

  Location of the hotel was good. The reception was hardly ever manned but the worst thing was the restaurant when a salad item was gone it was not replaced. During breakfast we once asked for boiler eggs and were told no. The breakfast was identical every day. The mandatory scrambled eggs tasted as if they were made with powdered eggs. Evening meal was ok but only 2 choices it seemed as if the owner was determined not to waste any food. The cakes for sweet were rather ordinary as well and not up to the usual Austrian standard. I don't know how this hotel has 4 stars.

  Average Hotel

  We stayed one night with our group. The triple room we got was excellent, ample space with heating and balcony view. We had a very good night sleep. However, breakfast was hopeless, nothing much to select and empties were not refilled. Staff was not friendly at all.
