Very unique interior style, good quality hotelWe stayed here for several days on business. We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant every day, had dinner with the owner one night in their private dining room, and used their sauna. As other people have said the interior is rather over the top, but the service and quality of the hotel is very good. The restaurant has excellent food, the portions almost seem American sized. We felt like the service staff thought we were very hungry so they prepared larger dishes, we always felt like we could barely finish our meals. The beef tongue wan't very good (it seemed like at least two tongues), but this was the only bad dish among many excellent ones. They make an excellent smoky plum drink, also a sort of vodka infused with different flavours like horseradish or some more fruity flavours. All the pickled vegetables and salads were excellent. The breakfast was excellent, though you need to be ready for some unique Ukrainian items. Coffee and tea was very good. The rooms are over the top "fit as many patterns and furniture as possible" Russian style, but still comfortable. The bathroom was always warm, water was hot fast. The room was rather hot/warm. The owner of the hotel also owns another more industrial business, which we were visiting. The owner had dinner with us in this private dining room which was ridiculously decorated, probably representing an old Ukrainian village house. Again, the kitch adds to the experience. There is a spa you rent on a time basis in the basement. There is a lockable door which brings you into a changing room, then another glass door into the spa area. It's Russian style, you rent the spa and it's private only for you. There is a large hottub which they call a pool (you can swim a stroke or two across, it's about 1.5 meters deep. There is also a steam room and shower/wooden tub. There is a seating area in the middle of this, we were served dinner here.

Excellent small hotel 30mins walk from CentreMy wife and I stayed in one of the two suites in this excellent boutique hotel. Irina (manager) looked after us very well, booking us opera tickets and a street art tour. The hotel amenities are fairly new and work. The restaurant served excellent Slavic cuisine and accommodated our jet-lagged selves at odd times. The decoration is eclectic but in keeping and we liked it. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

Quirky yet amazing hotelStayed here for 2 nights on way to and back from the Champions league final.Had different rooms and both were excellent.Breakfast was a substantial buffet and included eggs( fried. scrambled and boiled ) bacon, sausage and various cereals , fruit and juices. The hotel is wonderfully quirky has to be seen to be appreciated-even if you are not staying here it is worth a visit as it has a bar and very good restaurant. I would recommend it to anyone staying in Lviv and I thank all the staff for making my stay so memorable

Don't believe the hype! Now, before I start this review, let us make one thing clear: This hotel is a gem in its' own right. Just perhaps not the gem they are advertising. I came here as it was advertised to be a 5 star lodging on multiple different booking sites. I did not expect it to be true and I wasn't wrong. It's at a very unsuspecting street corner, no thrills, no fuss. No scenery around. Yet, when you enter you are met with someones unique idea of inner design. Glass staircase leading nowhere, crimson satine sofas, colour combinations that don't mix well, there's so many little things that pollute the visuals. And their love of mirrors! Don't get me started. It's amazing. In it's inverse universe kind of way. The receptionist, a gorgeous young lady, whisked me through the payment and held off on all the details you might want to know. No unnecessary recommendations, not even where your room might be. You can find out on your own. I like discoveries. The rooma have a distinct ageless vibe with them. This, this is where oligarchs and top politicians came to have a nights rest. In the 60's and 70's. I would presume. If it wasn't for the semi-modern phone to call reception, you would believe you are whisked back in time. Now. Don't be fooled by all this luster. You will meet logistical issues. The staircase is dark and room numbers follow somewhat ill logic. Your room has only two outlet plugs. You will have to forego table lamp use if you want to charge your phone or your laptop. The bahtroom is quite large, while showerbooth (when applicable) is on the small side. Breakfast is...well. You love to sleep in, right? Skip it. Visit the hotel restaurant after for some delicious foods. Prices are favoring you. Clean? Yes. Can't complain in cleaning departnent. Hotel is being kept very tidy. All in all - don't come here expecting a European style star system. Ukraine has it's own way of doing things and if you keep an open mind - you'll appreciate quirkiness.
