Overall a good stayThe cleanliness of the hotel was up to par. Front desk staff were nice and prompt. The rooms had stains on the floor which was one of those type of things that you would have to replace the whole carpet to get rid of so no big deal. The only issue i had with our room was that the shower curtain was super short and flapped around during the shower. There were no weights on the bottom to keep it from moving, hence it kept touching me in the shower. Other than that, very satisfied. I will stay here again.

Hot as hadesI stayed at this hotel for four nights. The first two nights, I woke up with a nose bleed. My room was 75-76 degrees, The thermostat was set on 64. I was moved to another room only to find out that it was the staff at the front desk controlling the room temperature, it happened again. I was very miserable, and will not ever stay here again.

Not horrible, but room for improvementThis hotel looks like it was remodeled fairly recently. The furniture, counters, etc. are in pretty good shape. Unfortunately, there are other things that made it not so great. The first thing I noticed when I walked in the room is that it was really warm. I went to adjust the thermostat, only to find out that you can't adjust it. Luckily my husband wasn't along - he never would have been able to sleep with it as warm in the room as it was. When I went to the bathroom I noticed that you have to hold the toilet handle down until the toilet has flushed completely. Not a huge deal, but kind of a pain. Speaking of pain, the toilet paper was horrible! And, there was a little more than 1/2 roll there and no extra roll. Luckily it was just my daughter and I there for a quick overnight, so we were okay. I saw a few comments about the shower curtain, and they're right. It's constantly blowing in and touching you, which is gross, especially when I looked at the shower walls. The shower walls had chunks of shampoo or something on them plus a suspicious looking, very short hair. Every time the shower curtain hit me, I was praying it wasn't as dirty as the wall. Also, as an FYI if you're traveling with someone with limited or difficult mobility, this place is huge! My mother has a difficult time walking and walks with a cane. I didn't think she was going to make it to her room. I had to walk down another very long hall to get to my room. It would have been nice if the front desk clerk had noticed her cane and that she was walking very slowly and had moved her room. Overall, if I was in the area again, I think I would try another hotel.

Love this placeI used to stay here when performing at the Bristol renaissance faire. Very friendly staff and the attached bar is a nice touch. The pool is okay. The hot tub is nice but could use more pressure. Went to a New Years Eve party and it was amazing.

DOES NOT FOLLOW OR RESPECT COVID-19 RULES AND SAFETYThe longer I stayed, the worse it became. I was there 1/10-1/28. Within the first day or so of staying, I noticed the exhaust fan in my room does not work. I mention it to the front desk attendant, and he stated hes not sure if hes ever heard one when hes stayed in the rooms before. No offer to have maintenance look into it. Next day I ask about having a microwave and coffee maker in the room, things that one would think would be standard, especially when knowing the guest has an extended stay. Front desk attendant stated next day while I was out that they would be placed in my room. I come back at the end of the day and they were not in there. I ask again for the items and do receive them promptly after that, however, there was a used K-cup in the coffee machine! This is evidence of lack of cleanliness. There is also inconsistency with room cleaning and lack of professionalism. One would think that during the pandemic, room cleaning would only be upon request and at check out. The room was not serviced for days, confirming my assumption. Then while my grandmother was resting, a housekeeping attendant tried coming into the room. I alerted the front desk and they simply replied to put a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. I put the sign on the door the next day, as Im walking out a housekeeping attendant down the hall asks, Are you leaving today? That shouldnt even be a question, Im here on extended stay. I worked for a hotel previously and I know that housekeepers are given charts on which rooms need servicing and which ones have check outs. I used the pool once and never again. One of the filters had black mold and the entire place smelled of mildew and mold. I chose not to say anything at this point, because why bother? On the 17th I decide to visit the fitness center. Its 8 a.m. I discover my key does not work. I visit the front desk and mention it and ask that my key be reset. She resets my keys and I walk back down there, again the key does not work. I go back to the front desk and the attendant realizes that the gym doesnt open until 9 a.m. due to cleaning. This does not make sense; most people like to work out early. Why not have the fitness center cleaned after closing so it is ready in the morning and open at 7 a.m? Overall, my biggest disappointment has been the negligence and lack of respect for COVID-19 rules. Staff does not enforce mask rules on themselves let alone guests. Pool is filled with birthday parties and the hotel seems to be fuller and guests are not separated. One housekeeping attendant I saw several times during my stay repeatedly had her mask down with nose and mouth exposed. I was outside with my grandmother and the general manager walks by and enters the hotel without a mask. I mention it to the restaurant manager who was manning the breakfast bar, and she was also not wearing a mask at that moment. Her comment to me was, Well he just walked in. IT DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY. I mentioned to her that the general manager of all people should be leading by example. Before getting out of your car, you wear your mask on your way into the building and especially upon entering a building. Since that incident the breakfast attendant/restaurant manager treated me with indifference and refused to be friendly after that. The ONLY redeeming quality this place have is the friendliness of a few of the front desk staff. Ill give a special shout out to Rogieross, he was always kind, wore his mask and was patient with me. Unfortunately, friendliness only gets you so far. I do not recommend staying here unless things change.
