  Great updates

  I was here for 3 nights for a conference. This hotel has had some terrific updates since the last time I was here. The bedding was wonderful. There are great shower heads in the bathroom. The staff was gracious. The first night a shuttle driver came right up to us as we were checking in to offer to drive us downtown for dinner. What a treat. We ended up using this service all 3 nights. My first morning I was a bit disappointed that the coffee was not ready at 6:00 am. A staff person, Jim, heard me ask the front desk person. He disappeared and came back with a fresh cup in his hand. It was very kind. The stay was great, the WiFi consistent - a real plus- and staff friendly. I did not have a chance to try the pool or fitness area. Is definitely stay here again. Kudos.

  Beautiful property, exceptional employees

  My husband and I stayed on 4/3/20. The updates to this property are phenomenal while obviously attempting to keep as much historical integrity as possible. Roberta struck up a conversation with my husband which concluded with a late night tour of the property. Her love of this place and it's history is obvious. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she is a benchmark for hospitality workers every where. Cass & Mike Wolfe

  Dont miss this one

  The sold out Fairfield ($199) referred us here. At $135 for a king we were pleasantly surprised. A category above the Fairfield this property was renovated by Marriott in the year or so. Please see pictures

  Small Healthcare Training

  We held a small healthcare training at the hotel for five days in October 2020. It was imperative that all COVID-19 social distancing guidelines were observed. The hotel worked with us to ensure that the guidelines were met -- from providing plenty of hand sanitizer, to the hotel's daily sanitizing of the meeting room, to individually plating and serving all the snacks and meals (which were delicious!!), as well as arranging for us to have an appropriate-sized room for our small group that would allow 6' distance between attendees. They provided technical assistance to our speaker to ensure her A/V worked well since she had to speak through a mask. They sales and catering team really worked with us to ensure we could safely conduct the training.

  Great place to host your next meeting!

  We used the facility for a meeting and quaint dinner. Staff were very accommodating and the food was excellent! Even with the over-the-top restrictions related to covid, the staff assisted with making this a smooth event!
