  Polite staff but poor service

  The location is excellent, facing the Shui She pier and the lake. The staff are really polite, but when asking for a high floor room, the reply is high floor rooms are all occupied, it was observed only 4 couples taking breakfast in within 70 minutes and breakfast is only operated 2 hours in the morning, it is really a doubt that all high floors are all occupied on a normal weekday. Check-in time is 3:30 pm and check out time is 11 am, do they need 4.5 hours for room make-up? not to mention not everyone needs to check-in at the first minutes and check-out at the last minute. All these are easier for the hotel operation but it is inconvenient to their guest.

  Great place for a relaxing day

  To really benefit from the location you must ask for a hotel with a full view of the lake. We had such a room and it was beautiful and tranquil. Different and perhaps nicer than the lakes in Northern Italy. Otherwise there is not much to do, but it is a great place to relax for a day. The staff and everyone were very nice.

  Magnificent Lake view

  We stayed as a family in the room facing the lake - love the view but the raining week had ruined the view but overall it was a remarkable experience. The carpet seemed rugged and need some refurbishment. Bathroom and bathtub are clean while the toilet were separated in between giving more privacy while doing business.

  Great hotel and location

  The hotel is just location in front of the pier and near to the visitor centre where all the bus arrive and depart. The view is great, its relaxing just sitting and enjoying the view with a cup of coffee.

  Adequate stay

  This is not a 4 star hotel. It is a 4 star location, but rooms really need a refurb. Our lake facing room had carpets that were filthy, and smelt. Management did offer to change out rooms, and did apologise, but its not a good impression. We did not take up this offer due to lateness, and being the last night. Bedding was comfortable, and decent ammenities provided. The breakfast was not very enticing. Staff not overly friendly, but busy.
