  What a shocker! Steer clear!

  I wouldn't even send my worst enemy to this hotel! Where do I start... The gentleman that runs/owns the hotel is extremely rude and yelled at me during my stay. He is not very forthcoming with information and makes you feel very uncomfortable as a single traveller. The room was small and pokey. I stayed for 4 long nights. The window has big metal shutters so you can't see out. The decor has not been updated since circa 1950...not such a problem...if it didn't include the linen and towels!! The towels in the ensuite were freyying, they had bits hanging off them!! I wouldn't dry anything but my dog with them!! The shower of course tiny. Good luck with the 'hairdryer' if it doesn't blow up first. Do not waste your money. Oh...I nearly forgot the stale breakfast every morning. Enjoy that. Or the fact that I'm sure a bug jumped out of my sheets and I left with an eye infection. My suggestion is the Hotel Byron or Hotel Florida...much better location and quality hotels. Lerici is beautiful don't waste the beauty staying at this dirty hotel.

  For that price i expect to get more

  We where travaling Itly with cuple of friends , changig hotel from day to day, snd this hotel was the worst from we started the jurny. The room was very small with cheep and poor fernitures and window that open for nowere. Breakfest was very basic. And all the inviorment was unplesent. Location is good and the man in the reception was nice and helpful.

  Budget Hotel, in the center of Lerici

  I have to take exception to the reviews written here. I travel to Lerici from the USA about 4 times a year. I don't need a view or luxury amenities. I expect a clean room, quiet location, and helpful staff. This fulfills all those requirements. One comment mentioned the steel shutters blocking the window - most windows in Italy have some type of shutter, here there is a strap to raise the shutter. Its simple and then you can open the window. There is not much of a view, but in Lerici it will cost big bucks for this. I mostly sleep in the room not lounge there for the view. The beds are comfortable, but basic. True the shower is very tiny, but again this is fairly typical for a budget hotel. The breakfast is quite good, coffee excellent, and the selection reasonably large. There is a parking garage in the rear.
