  Pleasant hotel in a good location

  We had a very pleasant seven night stay as part of a coach tour. The room was spacious and very clean. There was a good choice of food at breakfast and dinner. The staff were all friendly and efficient. The town of Alassio was a very nice base for our holiday.

  One of the best 3 star hotels

  in its category, this is definitely one of the best. Nicely decorated rooms, everything is functional, helpful and friendly service, extensive breakfast buffet. Located quite central of Alassio and close to the shore.

  Room OK; good breakfast; quiet location

  Stayed for 1 night, was convenient to tour the town for an afternoon; was here on business. Room was clean and neat; good air-conditioning. Got a good night's sleep, and the breakfast was very good. Staff was kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

  Fine hotel, but absolutely poor service

  Let me start by writing that we love Italy and the Italian people! We arrived at the hotel mid afternoon and was met by very reserved personal in the reception. After checking in, we were told that our room would be ready within 30 minutes and we could leave our luggage at the reception. We asked for parking and was told we could leave the car key - parking apparently costs 18 EUR / day, we found out later.. We went for a walk in the neighborhood and came back later. The receptionist handed us our key without further assistance - eg. where to find the room and / or elevator etc.. We chose the wrong elevator.. Went down again and found another (and correct) elevator and our room. The room was very nice and clean. There was a rainfall shower in the bathroom, but the spray went in every direction The next morning we found the breakfast restaurant, after asking for it.. We never got to taste the eggs for breakfast, as they were 'sold out' each morning, an hour before breakfast ended.. When asked for, we got a WIFI code, with a fair connection. At no point during our stay were the personal proactive (where to find breakfast (and when), wifi, beach & chairs, parking etc). We had to discover and ask for everything. We later found out that the hotel also had a 'gym', but that was after we left. At no point did the reception personal look up and / or saying hello, when we were entering the hotel. The day before we were leaving, we asked to have the car back at the hotel at 7 am. the next morning, as we had to leave early. We came down to check out at 7.05 am. There was no one to find in the reception. We met a cleaning woman, but she did not understand or speak English. After waiting for 20 minutes in the empty reception, the receptionist arrived in our car and we could check out. Paying 300 EUR per night, we expected a higher level of service. We will be back in Alassio, but not at this hotel!

  Excellent hotel

  The hotel is ideally situated. Just one minute walk from the beach plenty of restaurants nearby. We've been to Alassio for many times staying at 5 star and 4 star hotels but this 3 star hotel is much better and nicer than those hotels. Friendly front desk staff and nicely decorated refurbished room. Only down side was a breakfast (but this is due to Covid 19 so not to blame hotel for that). I would certainly be back to this lovely hotel. Highly recommended.
