  Gran amabilidad, céntrico y súper buen hotel

  Es un gran hotel, el personal es súper amable, está súper céntrico y tiene parking. La habitación es de tamaña normal y el baño está muy limpio. Además dejan bebida local para que disfrutásemos de ella. El desayuno está súper rico y a pesar de que no es un hotel de diseño, es un gran hotel, con una esencia muy peculiar...

  Literally the Best Vacation Ever.

  Some years ago, some friends and I spent a week at Degas House. This B&B is the historic home of artist Edgar Degas, with a very nice museum and tour available. We booked both available suites, and had a simply amazing stay. I arrived a bit earlier than the rest of my party, and was greeted by a lovely, cheerful staff, and lead to a beautiful room to wait. The woman who greeted me at the door brought me a glass of really good red wine and engaged in pleasant conversation while I waited. Once everyone else arrived, we were helped to our suites. The rooms were meticulously cleaned, and stunning. Both suites had balconies. The one I stayed in overlooked a charming courtyard. The beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept in, and the enormous tub had several jets! The kitchen was completely furnished, with dishes, a coffee maker, corkscrews, etc, and the fridge stayed stocked with refreshments. There was even a beautiful sherry decanter that was magically refilled each time we went out. Lol. The location is within walking distance of Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, etc. There was also a bus stop just outside. The staff made our stay absolutely amazing, and I definitely hope to return someday!!

  Great Breakfast!

  The best thing i can say is the breakdast was wonderful and so were the kitchen staff. Dont expect any help if u get there on the weekend. And no info about parking caused a bad taste adter tickets, and impounding. Also 22 stairs is not a fun stay, if u r not n real good shape If u like old houses that need updating esp the bathroom, this is it.The bed and bedding were comfy but hard to sleep with outside light in yout face during the night and no heavy draperies to block out early morning sun.u have to walk thru a bedroim to get to the bathroim.we had the matilthe suite Nice balcony.Too far from mardi gras parades so dont stay here then because buses and ubers hard to come by on fat tuesday. Will we ever stay here again? Probably not.

  Historical Beauty!!

  My husband and I were recently married here and that included a two night stay. It was lovely! Very peaceful and quiet with a delicious fresh made breakfast both mornings. We felt very much at home, as everyone was very attentive to our needs. This area of Esplanade is covered with beautifully large oak trees that create a hammock-like effect. Your photos will be absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommend if you are looking for a classic historical New Orleans welcome!! To us this was a home away from home, as it is only 30 minutes from our house. Very special thank you to Kathy and Sharon for treating me and my husband like family! We already cant wait to come back and visit soon!!

  Wonderful Wedding!

  We just returned from my daughters wedding weekend. Even after a six month delay due to Covid, and a rainy wedding day, the crew at the Degas House made it a wonderful event. Ms. Kathy, Ms. Sharon, and the rest of the staff took care of every detail and made sure everyone was happy. I had the opportunity to meet Mr. David, the owner. Just as everyone else, he was friendly and welcoming. I could sit on that front porch everyday. Its an absolutely beautiful place, but the people really make it what it is. My husband and I stayed on the 3rd floor in one of the garret rooms. No windows and no noise made for EXCELLENT sleeping! The stairs werent bad at all (and Im no youngster). Definitely must check it out while in town!
