  Needs work.

  This motel is in sad need of refurbishment. Friendly enough staff and a decent continental breakfast included. The deers are cute. The rooms are old and tired and the grounds are not well kept. Indoor pool and restaurant both closed due to Covid but would have been nice to know on booking. Clean enough for a nights sleep..

  Dirty place rude owner

  This is the dirtiest most unkempt place we have ever stayed. Gardens are disgraceful and we thought we might use the bbq but that was filthy as well. Pool and restaurant are closed and it would have been nice to be told that when booking. We found dirty tissues and rubbish in a drawer which makes us question the cleaning- which during covid you think would be spot on. Upon arrival we asked if we could cancel as the place looked so dirty but a very rude man who was apparently the owner marched down to us with no manners no hello just shouted at us that he would not release the booking- which is fine but the rudeness of this man was disgraceful. Thank goodness he did let us stay for only one night so we can leave today. There is no information in room about local activities. Small things like there are not enough towels for the people booked, coffee is terrible, toaster but no knife, air con did not work were very annoying. I would not recommend this place at all.

  Family Break

  Amazing. Such a lovely place to stay. Our room was fantastic. No traffic noise. Well decorated. Great facilities. Both Sebastian and Jason where very warm and friendly. Ordered room service the first night of our stay and can easily say we had the best chicken schnitzel either of us had ever eaten. The kids had Napoli pasta and again very delicious and full of fresh flavour. The deer are super cute and just add something special to the stay. The kids loved feeding them. Would recommend this lovely Motel to anyone wanting a peaceful stay.

  A great little stop over.

  A great motel to stop the night. Facilities wise eg Pool there is not much on offer. The rooms however are spacious, very clean and well appointed for a country motel. It has a nice little restaurant with a great wine selection of localy grown and produced wines. The two men who run the motel are very friendly and happy to stear you in the right direction for tourism ideas.

  Family visit

  My wife, granddaughter plus our 2 fur babies (Porsha & Chevy) were fortunate to stay with our wonderful hosts Jason & Sebastian. The room was clean and had everything we required including continental breakfast delivered to our room. The deer feeding was was a real hit for our granddaughter and something unique for all of us! Times are tough for small business in NSW so if you are travelling in the Armidale area please consider the Deer Park Motor Inn.
