  If you want to feel like royalty, stay at Deer Brook

  Deer Brook was one of the most delightful experiences I've ever had. Phil, the innkeeper, was so attentive and his breakfasts were to die for! The rooms are individually decorated and each one is different (and gorgeous!). The location of the property is perfect for exploring all this part of Vermont has to offer. Do yourself a huge favor and stay at Deer Brook!

  Making a New Friend

  I don't know what to say, from the moment Deb and I pulled into the driveway of Deer Brook Inn to the day we left we were treated to the most memorable experiences one can have at a country inn. Phil Jenkins the owner/innkeeper is gracious, outgoing and an amazing chef. The inn is decorated in a clean farmhouse chic look, no fru-fru Victorian doilies here. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable, with chairs and a bed you could sink in and never leave. The soaps and lotions in the bathroom are made locally by a friend of Phil's. There is a guest refrigerator with water and a Keurig coffee maker and tea cart that is always kept stocked, along with Phil's never ending cookie jar. Phil hosts a "wet your whistle" hour (for us Northerners it's happy hour) every night, where wine and homemade snacks are provided. Now, mind you, Phil is a gourmet cook, so there is nothing ordinary about this "wet your whistle" hour. Phil prepares imaginative goodies for his guests to savor. Did I mention breakfast yet? Here is where Phil takes breakfast food to new heights. From cheddar cheese soufflés to stuffed French toast with a raspberry coulis. His imagination extends to a fruit dish/or soup served first, where he creates a wonderful prelude to an exciting second course. Dietary needs, no problem. My friend is lactose intolerant and Phil created his masterpieces with lactose free ingredients and they were delicious. Phil the consummate host, also provided us with maps and tour suggestions to take advantage of Woodstock and all it's glory. Carve out time in your life and go to Deer Brook Inn, it will be a magical experience. And give Phil a big hug from me!!

  Wonderful time at Deerbrook Inn

  We returned to Deerbrook Inn a second year in a row and brought our friends! The service was the best! Its home away from home! Phil and Jazell are the best hosts and everything is done to perfection, right down to the smallest details! I highly recommend the inn to anyone who is looking for high quality treatment, excellent breakfasts, and a beautifully decorated atmosphere!

  Wonderful Inn

  Have stayed at Deer Brook Inn several times and will always be our number one choice. The decor is beautifully done. Phil is the most warm welcoming Inn Keeper as well as his staff. Phil makes the most delicious, unique breakfast with always a beautiful presentation. Before you arrive he makes you aware of all the events and activities in the area.   Awesome Weekend!

  My experience at Deerbrook in exceeded my expectations ! The Inn is absolutely beautiful and decorated so festively. The warm and cozy living room with the fireplace and Christmas tree truly was such a homey feeling. The food and hospitality were top notch of the highest quality! I totally recommend Deer Brook Inn for any occasion. Thank you Phil for making my stay be one of my best experiences in lodging in a bed and breakfast! Cathy Connecticut
