  My favorite hotel in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits

  Very charming hotel. Convenient location to visit the Côte de Nuits' wineries and vineyards. Breakfast is good and served early. What I like best is the excellent and professional service from the hotel's personnel. Old wooden and stone building so you may hear some noise (creaking sounds) if your neighbors are noisy. Overall, I highly recommend.

  Ticked our box . . .

  A small and oddly quiet place tucked away in a sleepy village surrounded by vineyards, where we stayed just one night on our way back to the UK. We didnt see any other guests and were served throughout by just a single member of staff, for whom we have only praise; possibly the love child of Basil Fawlty and Mother Teresa. Our room, on the top floor, was enormous though a tad stuffy and we would have liked a bath, but these are minor quibbles when you can open the window and take in the Chateau du Clos de Vougeot. We ate here in the evening (plates of cheese and cold meats on the terrace); a full restaurant would have been nice but beggars cant be choosers. Breakfast the next day came from the boulangerie down the road. Would we stay here again? Probably not, but absolutely no regrets; the Hotel de Vougeot served us well.

  Lovely small hotel in a delightful location

  The location was a perfect stop on our road trip around France. It provided excellent value for money and we were able to book at short notice. We had a deluxe room which was clean, spacious and comfortable. Coffee making facilities were available on the ground floor. We also chose to have breakfast which was buffet style with a good selection of fresh foods. The hotel also had a wine cellar providing a tour and sales. We thoroughly recommend this property.

  Fantastic customer service

  Quaint little hotel with great hosts including the legendary dog Raoul. Jean-Ives stayed late to welcome us and was kind enough to call a local restaurant to reserve a table for us knowing we would be arriving late. Top class customer service.

  Just look at the morning view

  It is in the vineyard.You can walk to Chateau du Clos de Vougeot through grape field.Very friendly staffs.Nice breakfest.Some room got beautiful view of the vineyard.And you can buy very good wine from the hotel.Sit in the back yard with a wine in hand and enjoy the view is the highlight.
