  Hotel stay

  Lovely professionally run hotel. Lovely decor throughout. i.e. in the reception area, restaurant and rooms. Lovely extra touches... as l was impressed with the cleanliness and extra signage in the rooms. E.g. labels explaining how to operate things like the shower. Eco information about their policy...i.e. about extra towels, being in the wardrobe so can use if required, etc. Breakfast was very good too. It was self service with a good choice of items Croissants, oat porridge, toast, fruit and full english breakfast. Lunch was great too. Staff training information in the rooms and advice signage across the hotel about the Corona virus policy and sanitiser available at reception and the restaurant to use regularly to control the virus. Very professional. l enjoyed the stay and l would definately recommend it.

  we recently stayed at the staverton my partner and i had a wonderful stay, was so nice to see extra measures are being used to keep the hotel clean. staff were friendly specially libby who went above and beyond when my partner lost her necklace and she stopped what she was doing to help us find it so a big thank you to her she is a great asset to your team not many hotels have staff like that as we stay in many hotels over the country. looking forward to coming back soon.

  Wonderful afternoon tea

  My aqua class colleagues and I had a wonderful afternoon tea at the hotel yesterday. Food was delicious and plentiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and we were served in an alcove in the bar area which was delightful. Well worth a visit.

  5* service!! A particular employee "Shane" is an absolute asset to your concierge team, from check-in to check-out nothing was too much to ask for or too inconvenient. Certainly secured future bookings with yourselfs for the forseable future regarding work or social stays Excellent hotel standars *****

  Sufficient Staverton

  This was my second visit to Staverton Estate, and again, it was a very nice couple of days away. Lovely staff, good breakfast and comfortable room. The hotel has been decorated since i came here 18 months ago, and mostly it is done well. I dont agree though, with the tv being surrounded by that ugly metal cage contraption. Its like looking at a public information screen at a railway or bus station. Anyway, that was in just a standard double room, it may well be different in other rooms. The leisure facilities are good. You cant argue with a decent size swimming pool, spa pool, steam room and sauna. I am yet to play the golf course, so i cant comment, but it looks a good standard and in well kept condition. On the whole, i like this hotel. Its mostly corporate, but that doesnt bother me. It means its busy, and i quite like people watching. Its not the Ritz, nor is it Harry Potters broom cupboard. Its a Ronseal hotel. Does exactly what it says on the tin. But the real reason i like staying here......there is a FANTASTIC country pub/restaurant just around the corner called The Countryman. Quality..........just quality. Make a visit, you wont be disappointed. .
