Oh lordThis is probably the worst run place in the history of the hotel industry. I came for my best friends wedding. They track their reservations on hand written note paper, the complimentary breakfast is slim pickings, they insist on cash only payment, only cleaned my room twice in a 4 day stay, and we had to set up the tables, chairs, and linens for the wedding reception ourselves. They have a downhill trail to the very beautiful and scenic beach...but if you want to sit at the lounge chairs under the provided umbrellas, you have to pay 6, regardless if you're a hotel guest Every other beach bar in the country doesn't charge occupancy for their chairs/umbrellas but you have to at least purchase one item (no more than 2 or 3 euro for a beverage). It's a group of middle aged brothers that run the hotel...their customer service skills are questionable, at best. The younger generation of the family is a little more accommodating, but not by much more. I'd rather pay more for a different place. I factor in the low cost of the room to the offerings, but one doesn't cancel out the other.

Terrifying DisasterI was here for a friend's wedding. The wedding rate was supposed to be $50 a night. First they tried to make us pay $75 a night by wiring the money in to an account months ahead of time. When we balked they took a card. However, when we got there they said "No card! Cash money now!" As three guys circled the front desk (which is in the cafeteria for some reason) Only after my friend who spoke Greek explained our situation did the dogs back down. Honestly this was really scary as a woman traveling alone. It was only when I pointed to my husband's name on a notebook - the way they keep pretty much all records as far as I can tell - that they eased up. For this reason alone I would not stay here. They said there would be Wifi and I never could find it if there was any available. However, if you are a guy and are willing to pay cash, and have summer camp like accommodations you might like this place. I'll never ever go back.

In the 80' maybeThe hotel was very old and has not seen a renovation for a long time. The plumbing was terrible. We had to take out ourselves the chairs and table for the balcony. There weren't enough outlets so that we can charge our mobiles. No WiFi signal at the rooms. The front desk was hardly ever there. The breakfast was far from hearty. The only positive was the view but it's not enough so that I can recommend this hotel to someone else.

Hotel Auberge de la plageWe were 2 couples that stayed at this hotel in August of 2017. Booked it over the phone, we were given the price with breakfast. At check out they told us we misunderstood the quoted price and the breakfast was an additional for 8 euros per person! A coffee, stale cookies, or bread w/marmalade. the ones who have been there will know what I mean. The rooms and bathrooms were not cleaned, the bathroom at the restaurant was disgusting! I came back home with an e-coli infection!! The beach was great, but stay clear away from that hotel.
