  Hotel familiar

  En el centro historico de Delft, en una preciosa plaza, se encuentra este hotel de gestion familiar. (Al menos es lo que parece) No hay ascensor. Hay que subir las maletas por las angostas escaleras. Pero se llega a unas habitaciones amplias. Buen desayuno y para cenar hay variada oferta en la misma plaza.

  Charming little hotel

  Great location, the hotel is situated on a square - plenty of places to hang out, eat and drink, both indoors and outdoors. Close to major attractions. The hotel itself was also adorable, I loved the way it was decorated with Delft blue pottery. Lots of artwork in the hallway, as well as in our guestroom. Room was clean, though I wished it were better lit as was quite dim. We stayed in one of the rooms on the first floor and right outside the window was the street. We were there during the week and did not find it was too loud (perhaps it helped that it was quite cold and there weren't many people outside). There is no parking onsite, we parked in a garage 5-10 minutes away. All in all, I thought this hotel was charming and would recommend to others.

  Great location

  Set in a square with lots of places to eat and drink, staff are friendly and helpful, booked restaurants for us. The place is clean, good sized rooms and nice breakfast. It is in the historic area of Delft and a short walk to the main square

  a really nice hotel

  It is a really nice hotel situated in a very popular square. A historic building but the rooms are quite spacious and clean. The staff we encountered were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was in with the room price and was excellent. Staff were helpful regarding a few gluten free items. Locally there are plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants and all the main attractions are within a short walking distance. We had a lovely room overlooking the square. You could hear voices late at night, but being mid October, I imagine you didn't have too many people sitting out all night. A couple of points to note if it is of a concern to you. There is no lift and the stairs up to the first floor are very steep. On arrival the lady was very kind and really wanted to help carry the cases up. But it wasn't a problem for us. I think there are rooms on the ground floor, so perhaps a phone call (their English is excellent) to see if they can guarantee a suitable room. If you arrive late at night at the time of our visit, it seemed as there was no way of checking in as there is no reception after about 11 pm. Once in you have a key to get in late at night. if you know you will arrive very late it is worth checking this in advance. On departure we walked 15 mins to the railway station with two wheelie cases - no problems. On arrival we took a taxi from the station to the hotel - not very expensive. Vehicles can't come to the front door and the square, so the taxi dropped us off about 100 yards away round the corner. Not a worry. When choosing our hotel we noted that they all seemed a high price for what they were. Similar for Utrecht where we stayed for a few days before Delft. Perhaps that is the norm for the Netherlands. Wifi was free in the room and worked well. We were extremely comfortable there. I want to come back please ?

  Great hotel centrally located

  Extremely friendly service and central location are the qualifications for this hotel. We had a spacious room overlooking a central square and could still sleep very well because of the insulation. Plus, the hotel is themed and has loads of pictures relating to the great old masters such as Vermeer, Rembrandt and Rubens. Not to be missed! Moreover, we could put our bikes in a secure place.
